The battle of exegol is essentially a re-run of ROTJ where its palpatine trying to goad said subject to strike him down to fulfill his objective. While there are elements that are different than ROTJ (dyad, palpatine actually restoring himself etc). At this piont, its a matter of taste on how different it is to ROTJ and if there are any creative/meaningful ways to make the rey, ben, palpatine interaction more “original/novel” but thats a different discussion. I personally like what we got in episode 9 for what it was worth
Is it a rerun though? In RotJ it was Luke versus Vader with the Emperor watching. Him dying came as a surprise to him. In TRoS, Ben is already redeemed and both him and Rey have come with the explicit intention of killing him. It’s more like the LEGO SW level than the actual scene in RotJ.
If you guy really want the duel to take place during the battle, what if you just made Kef Bir and Exegol the same planet?
That would require a lot of work. Maybe make the Water somehow frozen, but it could work. If Kef Bur was maybe a different part of Exegol. It’s a weird concept, but would be cool.

I really liked the final battle clip, but If I were you I’d remove Kira because she looks way to young in the clip from Solo. I liked how you had Boba and Mando though.

I don’t know if anyone has thought of it, but what if we turned Palpatine’s lighting into Red at the end. It would truly show Palpatine’s strength and what he’s like in his true, strongest form. It would also be cool visually as well with Rey pushing off with her sabers (And Force Ghosts) against The Red Lighting. It’s like Red vs Blue, Evil vs Good. Thoughts?

Is there a way to make General Pyrde be Grand Admiral Thrawn, because I mean it makes sense within events from Rebels and his own novels. We would just have to redub Pryde and also change his skin to Blue. I think it would be a cool call back for EU fans as well. Because afterall, The Emperor REALLY likes Thrawn according to Rebels and the Timothy Zahn Canon trilogy.

Hello There everyone, as many might already know this is going to be My Personal Audition of Episode IX, doing many different things compared to the theatrical version. It’s like a “real” fan edit, using VFX and SFX, but also a fan made project using Brand New Animation Scenes from Movie Duels as well as Action Figure Sequences that will add on scenes that should’ve been in the film, for example Kylo Ren interrogating Chewbacca and The Webbish Bog Sequence on Mustafar. Many Things will be different from The Theatrical Cut. Many Aspects of Collin Trevorrow’s and JJ Abram’s Early Drafts will be used for this project, as well as my own. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQ3zs6vK7WAAlso, sorry to be pedantic but “Bounty Hunter Pursuit” was the name of the Lego set (and later, level in Lego Star Wars TCS) based on that AOTC scene, the song itself if “Zam the Assassin/Chase Through Coruscant.” While there is a song on the soundtrack called “Bounty Hunter’s Pursuit” it’s what plays during the asteroid field chase.
