I read the first book from 1926 but I never read The House at Pooh Corner or the more recent Return to the Hundred Acre Wood. I also read When We Were Very Young which had an early version of Pooh, “Mr. Edward Bear”.

Good on you man! Lots of luck with that. I know how that life can be. I was utterly dependent on pot and booze until about 5 months ago. I’ve been free of pot since October (I slipped slightly because someone brought some weed to a Halloween party I went to, but I regretted it immediately) and while I’m not absolutely free of booze, my drinking is only about 5% of what it used to be. I can’t say I don’t miss being stoned and drunk and dumb, but I don’t hate sobriety either.

I’m not a big Superman fan, I haven’t even seen III & IV. But, my ratings are as such:

Eh, my ** means “Pretty bad but not the worst”. It’s been a while since I’ve watched those flicks, so I didn’t know if they merited less than **. Although I’ve seen Prometheus recently, it wasn’t so horrendous to deserve less than **, but it’s easily the weakest in the franchise. But I probably should rewatch AvP Requiem as I’m sure that’s supremely awful and should be rated/ranked lower.

1. Aliens ***** - Perhaps the most perfect sequel.
2. Alien ***** - #2 gets the edge because it’s faster and more intense, but the first one is more brilliant.
3. Alien vs Predator ***1/2 - What can I say, I liked it.
4. Alien 3 ** - I should rewatch it as it’s been a long time since I saw it and I don’t know if I ever actually watched the “Special Edition”.
5. Alien: Resurrection ** - I highly highly recommend TMBTM’s fanedit “Alien-Ate”.
6. AvP Requiem ** - So bad I barely remember it.
7. Prometheus ** - I wish I barely remembered it.

I know this post is almost a month old, but since when were these considered bad. I love all of these movies. HEAD is a favorite of mine in particular, fantastic film.

Casino Royale (1967) - 29%

Those 2 would fit the definitions. But the other two wouldn’t…

I moved across the country a few months ago, from California to Illinois, and donated a good amount of books to the Goodwill. Then I had to box up all my other books and put in storage for the time being. So as right now my book collection at home consists of like 6 titles.

Obviously Jay & Silent Bob showed up at his house and kicked the shit out of him for talking smack about the new Bluntman & Chronic movie. After that day he never went on the internet again.
