I have some questions regarding how to turn the MKV files into Blu-ray Discs, as well as the artwork for putting in Blu-ray cases and perhaps the creation of the awesome box sets I’ve seen.

Mom’s ancient CRTV was displaying a wavy picture and about to go out completely. I had a 25" monitor, so I let her borrow my 40" until we could get her a new one. I paid half, and hooked it up for her. Then, I was able to get mine back and dump the 25", thank the maker lol.
I finally got my 40" TV back and played the ROTJ: DE MKV on it.

Speaking of labels and such, is there a thread I might have missed for folks like myself that want boxset covers, labels, and all that jazz? I will gladly pay for shipping or materials or whatever. This set deserves to shine in our collections and the images of the homemade boxes are awesome!

Crap. MPC 64 with K-Lite has the same problem. If I advance forward, the picture sticks and only the audio continues. Now I’m really dying to know what this super secret is.
It’s a shame that even one prequel is going to be shown to those poor students, and I agree about the Rifftrax. I guess they are Satanic. Afterall, the stupid title crawl does state that “Evil is everywhere.” Although, in actuality, it was really only in one place, but whatever, it’s GL we’re talking about.
The prequels were abysmal, but their story was ambitious. I’ll be cleansing the palate with Return of the Jedi later, so don’t worry. Besides, Revenge of the Sith is incredibly Miltonic, so I have to teach it in a class on Milton and Star Wars.
EDIT: The special editions disappoint me more than the prequels ever could, because they worsened those films, especially ANH and ROTJ.
I just don’t believe “higher learning” and “prequel” should be in the same train of thought, but to each their own.

No it wasn’t, along with some jam session music in the palace and the music played aboard the Sail Barge. The Baroque recital was released on the SE soundtrack for the first time, but that’s as far as it went, especially with that Jedi Rocks crap being introduced and released as a single.

It is a shame that the movie version of Lapti Nek never made it on to any of the soundtracks, at least as a bonus. GL strikes again. It would have made the commentary problem easier to deal with, but I think we’ll live. 😃

Of course a shit-ton of overall quality would be lost, but ConvertXtoDVD will take an MKV then build a DVD structure and burn the DVD. This is NOT recommended for anyone wanting HD quality, but at least you’d have a DVD to watch until you can move up to BD.
I do like what they did musically for the Alien 3 Fox logo.

I don’t know about that. Rey remembers and has a vision of when she was ripped from her family on Jakku followed by the ship she came from flying away. I don’t think Luke would have knowingly done this, even if his failure as a master was around the same time. I would also think there would have been recognition between the two at the end. I guess all we can do is hurry up and wait to be sure.

I’d just like to say that the Facebook arguments regarding Harmy’s lack of respect for George Lucas’ artistic vision are quite entertaining, but also a little frightening (just like any good carnival ride)
I especially like the whining about the infiltration of Star Trek groups by “Star Wars people” because of all the attention on TFA going on right now. And let’s not forget the “Star Trek vs. Star Wars” posts, pictures, and attempts at memes. There was a person that actually thought the Enterprise-E could take on and destroy the Death Star.

No, not a chance. That music was not designed to be heard like that, as evidenced by the soundtrack albums and collections themselves. If it happened that way on the CD, LP, cassette, reel to reel, or 8-Track, then there would be no issue. Although I must admit it still would sound out of place if it was meant to sound that way. I just wish there was a print somewhere that didn’t have it. But even if they existed then, they likely wouldn’t exist now.
