Excellent Harmy!
Excellent Harmy!
There was a deleted scene I found on YouTube showing a model of a TOS era ship hanging in the room Admiral Marcus was in. Now it's gone.
Also, I don't know how complete it is or if it even has anything to do with what you guys are putting together here, but there is a collection of extras at TPB.
Damn I wish that I could take part in the donating! Harmy, what you have achieved is amazing and I feel obligated and duty-bound to help you. The problem is, I am so desperate for money myself right now that I can't. I'm talking "am I going to eat" and "how the hell am I going to move back home" kind of poor. I feel so helpless when I can't participate in something as clearly important as this. My PayPal was closed down, but if there is some way I can pitch in before you stop accepting donations, I will try my best.
Thank you again, Harmy! As well as everyone else that has helped.
I don't know if I would want the hassle that may occur with the enhanced commentary, but like Harmy, I would LOVE to get my hands on a folder full of all the other bonus materials. If such a beast exists, please PM me and let me know where to get it. If it's a torrent, I will seed the hell outta that mofo. Thanks!
I was hoping for a Christmas release too, but that's okay and understood, Harmy. I can at least turn the MKV into a BD and share it with friends and family that way!
I'm guessing the best way is tsMuxer?

I never noticed it until it was pointed out to me.
Never noticed what? Sorry, having some computer problems and I can't find the source for your comment, Harmy.
From the mouths of babes. Gotta love it. :)
Okay everything checks out. I was unaware that we were talking about the movie file by itself, so my bad. And there's no glitch in the cantina so I won't have to deal with downloading again.

I think he's more concerned that he's been providing people with the unfixed version.
Nearsighted Scrappile, the myspleen version is fine, and there are no duplicates. There were checksums posted a few pages back.
Thanks mate and yes you are right about my concern. I'll make sure to get the corrected one shared and the old one nixed once I get it from the Spleen. I find it ironic that someone who likes a band called The Strokes asked me if I freak out much, LOL.

Guys, what's the exact filesize of the CORRECTED v2.5 MKV file?
Wait. There's a corrected one??? Shit.
The current one I have is 19,216,809,124 bytes. What is wrong with it, and what was the fix?
Does this mean I have to download it all over again? Is the corrected one on MySpleen, with no duplicates running around? That means I will have to shut things down at TPB and KickAss Torrents.
Please somebody let me know what's up.
Wow. This clusterfuck of a release is really proving to be a... well... clusterfuck. I really hope the materials can be compiled for the sake of all our sanity! Paramount and Bad Robot definitely make the Shit List.
I really appreciate the effort shown here to get this thing done.

You_Too and I will figure out what direction to go in when the time comes, we are still a little ways off before finishing up both Terminators.
Thanks for the update, DJ. While my main concern is seeing the first film in BD quality with the original mono sound, I'm sure I'll wanna check them both out before all is said and done. :)
Although my computer and burner are out of commission, I can confirm what djchaseb said. Burn at 2x, and use good media like Verbatim. Not one coaster yet. I also burned a 50GB Sony disc with no issues.
First of all, sorry to everyone offended by my crabby behavior back there. Real life has not been so good and it spills over sometimes!
Second, thanks to chyron for getting the torrent up. I am grabbing it there now and will seed as promised. For some reason, JD was not willing to cooperate for me this time and things just snowballed.
Last, but not least, THANKS HARMY for your work!
Sheesus, a guy doesn't understand something and gets jumped on (typical for OT.com). I had no idea that the number of files had dropped from 92 to 37 or whatever for the post-fix JD links. I wasn't feeling entitled, I just didn't know what was going on here. Excuse me.
Anyway....
I tried using JD2, and it was a total nightmare. It froze, along with every other program on my computer, then I discovered that it changed my homepage without asking. So, I dumped it in favor of the previous version. I don't know what it is, but it is not as simple as it used to be. At a time, all one had to do was copy the URL's into the program, and JD takes care of the rest. Now, it sits there barely doing anything, occasionally throwing a PW at you.
Well, I'll know soon enough if this adventure pays off.
Frink, I know it's impossible for you and you have to have the last word, but just for once, STFU.
Well this has become a complete clusterfuck. Only 37 of the 92 files are on TehParadox, and MySpleen has squat. Maybe some magic will occur between now and wakey time, and I think I'm gonna give JD2 a try once the files are there.
The corrected links you mean, Harmy? Is this thing ready to be downloaded without the glitch now?
Okay so is there an alternative to the madness of JDownloader this time? What's this talk of MegaUpload? Does JD have to be used with that as well? I'll do it again of course if I have to, but it's a pain in the ass.
I'm also guessing the original links have been removed at Teh and will be replaced with new ones?
For the last time, the public torrents have been taken down hours ago.
Yep, the 45:37 glitch happens for me as well. I am pulling my torrent.

I'll leave the Spleen to [chyron]. I'm taking it to the public trackers instead.
While I get the feeling we've generally tried to keep Harmy's DE off of public trackers (like TPB), I also suspect it's inevitable that this will eventually happen. Perhaps it's better to have you, someone following the official forum that we can communicate with, upload it to such places rather than what I'll dub a "rouge fan."
To be honest, I've problem said more on this matter than I should, considering that I'm a relative newcomer (only been around since earlier this year). I'm sure things will work out either way, and I'm just excited to see so much interest surrounding this amazing project!
Thanks again to Harmy & everyone involved in the creation of SW DE v2.5!
All worthwhile projects, for years, have ended up on public trackers. If someone doesn't do it, I will. The material deserves the exposure. We already have an elitist cult status attached to us by folks that don't understand. Sharing helps people to understand what the extremely talented people here can do. After all, we are all Star Wars fans. TPB and 1337x have 2.5 now, by the way.
I wasn't going for glory fellas. Just trying to help. I'll leave the Spleen to achyron. I'm taking it to the public trackers instead.
Excuse me. Just trying to help. I leave it to chyron then.
