Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)

WOW.  V2.0 is the absolute SHIZNIT.  Harmy sir, you have brought quality to where I truly thought quality couldn't be brought.  I'd send a copy to LFL if I knew it would do any good.

I really don't know how you, or any of the folks here, work your magic, but hat's off to you sir.  I'm able to work some magic with with audio, and I've gotten pretty good over the years, but this stuff is just incredible.

This is now the definitive version for my HD equipment.  Period.

Oh gosh, I hadn't thought of that with the encoding error.  If you have a dual core Harmy, perhaps it's time to look into at least a quad core, especially when you tackle the BD version?  For me, I use a dual core and it can still take over two days to create a BD with a simple menu from an MKV that is 13GB+.

And let's not forget the "improvements" and "enhancements" for the upcoming 3D abomination!  At least we have Raiders of the Lost Ark coming to us in IMAX to celebrate the restoration and BD release.

Raiders also has cgi "improvements", lol. likely, you won't see the theatrical release.

Incorrect.  Spielberg has stated that the restoration is of the original 35mm negative, and things like the glass reflection of the cobra will not only be seen again, but in IMAX to boot.

Fantastic, Harmy!

Another dumbass change gets found, reported, and dealt with.

Take that, George!

Out of curiosity, how were you able to fix that shirt color so fast?  Was the color timing of the entire frame at fault, or was it definitely a conscious change made by George and Co. that had to be undone by changing the color of the shirt only?  Sorry, I'm just an audio person and I know next to nothing relating to video.  I'm doing good to make AVCHD's and BD's, and have no knowledge on the actual futzing around that you and others here do.

Whether you can answer this or not, you sir are a LEGEND!  :)

Wow, I had no idea there was a 1965 Technicolor Dreamcoat edition.  I guess Lucasfilm borrowed Doc Brown's car.

Kidding aside, I'm sorry this happened Harmy.  I'm sure it was no laughing matter when you discovered it.  I'm sure with your experience, and the help of those qualified here should you need it, it will be resolved post-haste.

Good luck.  We're all counting on you.

Very good, Harmy!  I'll definitely take the MKV to hold me over on my HD monitor until the BD comes.  Are you planning a "making of" kind of thing?  Or perhaps a "DE-making of" kind of thing?  I would be very interested to see stuff like that.

As I said before, I have a very fast fiber-optic connection and I have no problem committing maximum bandwidth to sharing the MKV, or any files associated with it.  Just PM me if you like.

Looking forward to seeing this!
