Worst movies ever.
Time
I find that most people that complain about Snakes on a Plane were people that never actually saw it. I saw it at 10p.m. the night before opening day with a group of about 20 people, and it was hands down the most fun I've ever had in a theater. Ever. The movie itself may have been cheesy as hell, but I've seen movies that were a lot worse (and a lot less enjoyable) to watch. "Amityville Horror", "The Ring", and "Lady in the Water" come to mind.

I've played a couple of small shows, and the main thing I kept in mind was to just have fun with it. When I went to the Summer Seminars, I did stand-up by myself in front of about 300 people, and I just reminded myself that the audience wants to be entertained. So I just did the best I could, and if they didn't like it, well too bad, I'll never see any of them ever again anyway.

Things that piss me off when opening new DVDs

I thought the kid proof tabs were just on Disney DVD's to keep kids from taking them out and scratching them, but I also found them on 'Sean of the Dead' and 'Batman Begins'.

???

Did you get a different version of the Apocalypse Now DVDs? Because the version I got had Act 1 of both movies on Disc 1, and Act 2 of both movies on Disc 2, so I always have to switch discs mid-movie. What idiot came up with that idea?

I hate the new DVD packaging trend where Disc 2 lies on the bottom of the pack, and Disc 1 lies so that it half-way overlaps it. This way I have to remove Disc 1 whenever I want to get to Disc 2.

Sin City Re-Cut , AC/DC Family Jewels, and the Apocalypse Now Complete Dossier are examples of this, and it makes me want to punch someone whenever I see it. GAAAAAAAAAH!

my memory isn't that bad, is it? (in SW '77 - Luke misses with the grappling hook?)

I'll pay 50 bucks to anyone who can actually provide hard evidence that either of these two Star Wars urban legends made it to film.

P.S. - People claiming to have seen the Biggs on Tatooine scenes in the film aren't even going to be considered.

Whenever people say that they remember the ships hitting the Death Star shield, I always tell them that they're thinking of the scene in "Independence Day", because the jet fighters do crash into the shield during the first attack.

Unfortuantely, Nintendo seems commited to giving Star Fox fans everything EXCEPT exactly what they want. Just give us a new Starfox game with the gameplay of SF64 but new levels. No Dinosaur Planets, no ground and vehicle missions, and no DS stylus command.

Just Star Fox 64 with new levels, Ninendo! Is that so much to ask?!

Yeah, I just bought Star Fox Assault for the GC , expecting much better than Dinosaur Planet, and I was super-pissed. For every flying mission, there were about four on foot missions........and there's only 10 missions!!! Screw Star Fox.

I have an idea for a TV miniseries. Tell me what you guys think.

It would be based on Star Fox 64. Imagine the feel of the Death Star attack from the original Star Wars, captured in an animated (preferably CG) TV series. Since Star Fox 64 had 1 level per planet, each episode would be a different planet. The episodes would follow the same basic structure, but more of the plot (i.e. Fox's father, Pigma's turn, Star Wolf, etc.) would be revealed along the way. The final episode, of course, would be the final battle with Andross on Venom.

Whaddya think?

And of course, Peppy would have to say "Do a barrel roll!" at least once.

I prefer their prog-rock era, from Atom Heart Mother to Animals, although The Wall is good too.

Any more prog-rock fans here? Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Yes, Genesis, stuff like that?

I've got Pipers, Saucerful of Secrets, Animals, DSOTM, The Wall, and Wish You Were Here. I still can't pick a favorite, although one of my favorite songs is "Bike"

SW universe is a weird place. Is a duck the only animal the SW universe shares with ours , either in image or in speech ? Like..did anyone get hounded, or go batty or such? I know Leia said Tarkin emitted a 'foul stench' , but not sure if she meant he smelt like a chook.

There are snakes and lizards on Degobah in ESB.

iPod Question
Time
Whoa, I just discovered that you don't even need that program. Just go to "My Computer", find your iPod (for me it was Disk Drive L), then go to iPod_Control (I think it's technically a hidden folder), then go to "Music", then find the songs you want to move, then just copy them to your computer manually. Sure it's a pain in the ass, and the songs have funky four-letter names, but at least it works.
