Actually, out of all the new characters in the PT, I kinda like Dooku. I think he'd be worth keeping. If you ask me, Qui-Gon should be scrapped. He seemed to me to be the most pointless character of all 6 movies, really.

Well, then again, since Weird Al is actually FUNNY, old Lucas may not know how to handle it, since it's poop-joke-free.

Has anyone seen the 1979 remake of "Nosferatu"? The 1922 original is amazing, and I was wondering if the remake was worth going out of my way to pick up.

I like to consider myself a reasonable movie buff. Hell, I even write an article entitled "Awesome Movies You've Never Heard Of" for my school paper (for which I recently reviewed "Evil Dead" and "Dead Alive".....hey, they're a bunch of high school n00bs, what can I say?). But I can't for the life of me sit all the way through 2001. More specifically, I can't stay AWAKE. I don't want to radiate the notion that I'm a typical 16-year-old who is used to Hollywood's "fasterstrongerloudernow!" approach these days. Hell, one of my favorite horror films is the 1922 silent "Nosferatu", which is definitely not a fast-paced film. Perhaps 2001 just isn't for everyone.

Indeed, but Gummo Marx quit their comedy act before they started doing movies. I was never really that fond of Zeppo either. Him and Shemp from the Three Stooges just seem to be of lesser quality than the rest of their respective groups.

I'm working on the Malory edition right now. I actually read Once and Future King during the summer. Have you ever read T.H. White's "The Book of Merlin"? It's the intended last part of OAFK but it doesn't really fit that well with the rest of the story.

I've been dabbling in Dante's work a little bit, but I haven't had the time to really sit down and read it yet. All in good time.

As for a Le Morte d'Arthur movie, I think I'd rather see a good film adaptation of Beowulf. As an aspiring filmmaker, if I ever had a huge budget for a film, I'd make a text-accurate Beowulf film with spoken Anglo-Saxon/Old English dialogue with Modern English subtitles, "Passion of the Christ"-style.

I am attempting to tackle the Morte d'Arthur at the moment. I read a little piece of it in literature class and I thought it was som awesome that I wanted to read the rest of it. Paradise Lost is next on my list.

I just had my first can of Gay Fuel about an hour ago. It's actually pretty good. The flavor is sorta Red Bull-ish but......fruity (oh, the irony). The funniest part is that on the back of the can it says that 5% of the proceeds will go to an AIDS related charity.

Perhaps so, but Sabbath was the first METAL BAND. They were all huge Beatles fans, so they probably just took "Helter Skelter" to the next level.

Plus the White Album was released in 1968, which was the year that Sabbath first formed. Sabbath's first album was released in 1970, and still holds up very well today.
