Team Blu, i hope you find time in the near future to restore The Warriors to its former glory. If a proper HD version cant be found i recommend the PAL DVD for upscaling the missing frames. I watched it recently and i thought the picture quality was very good for a standard definition DVD.

I doubt Paramount is going to release this on Blu anytime soon.
Has the original version of The Warriors ever been available on Blu Ray or HD DVD?. I would love to have a 720P or a 1080P copy of this movie without the horrible cartoon inserts.
I love the look of the original classic poster,it reminds me of the days of renting this movie on VHS,that will be my choice for a blu ray cover.

I got about 40 minutes into the U.K. Blu Ray and had to turn it off, it's a horrible screwed up mess. Cant wait until this project is finished so i can finally watch John Carpenter's best movie in HD.
Brilliant work, now i can get rid of the terrible U.K. Blu Ray.
Does this sync problem affect all the audio tracks on Harmy's despecialized ROTJ ?.

I got to meet Dave Prowse, Jeremy Bulloch, Richard Le Parmentier, Kenny Baker, Tim Rose and Anthony Forrest at an annual event in Belfast.Theres no official movie props but the Emerald Garrison who help host this event make incredible replicas.
Personally i would like to see the blu ray as soon as possible,why not make an extra blu ray disc with all the new extras for all three movies when the trilogy is complete?.

I agree 100% on this, lets make Disney know now how much the original Star Wars 1977-1983 is wanted by the public.
The more i read about this situation the more stunned i get,who knows maybe this deal has been in negotiations for a few years and Disney has asked for the original trilogy not to be released until they have their hands on it.

I have a Sony BDP S-360 and the only problem I've had with it is that the latest firmware update is somehow incompatible with recent 20th Century Fox titles. I couldn't play Avatar, Predators or The A Team. Either there's a bug in their firmware they haven't fixed or Fox is so heavy handed with the copy protection that the player can't read through it.
Have you tried reverting back too an older firmware update?.
