I heard the TV station found the episodes six years ago, but no-one would respond to their emails.

Agreed, great film.
What do you mean by "mystery" video source? Was it not identified as HDTV, D-VHS or whatever?
Is it uncensored? (The UK home video version had the coke-taking scene removed, IIRC)
I'd be happy to provide a script for the soundtrack documentary. Could do with a check by hh before use, though.

I have the video done. The HDTV rip matches the Sony blu-ray, color-wise, but has the additional footage, so I used that with some minor enhancements.
As far as the HD trailers, I was considering remastering the trailers in HD myself, if I decide to go that route.
Wasn't there an earlier theatrical trailer that used the Terminator theme, as the Robocop music hadn't been written yet?

What really happened to those four imperials on the Falcon? ... It's questions like these that keep me up at night, people!
Well, you could worry about the fact that there two dead technicians and two dead, naked stormtroopers somewhere on the Millenium Falcon for half the movie.
Or you could just forget it and enjoy the movie.

Another game we used to play was Apple Sauce.
It was basically British Bulldogs but played with an apple out of someone's packed lunch.
I can't work out how that would work. What is the apple for?
Throwing at people to tag them.
Ergo apple sauce as there tended not to be much of the apple left by the end of break.
Tagging is for pussies. In the proper rough version we played, people had to lifted so that no part of their body touched the ground long enough to chant "British Bulldog 1-2-3".

Love it!
Seriously, I'm planning on watching althor1138's preservation of the Japanese laserdisc of Episode I in the near future.
I have no plans to ever watch II or III again.

I thought you were president of the Didn't Like Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Society?
Looks good! Has anyone compared this to Zion's WBBM version?
If you contact Jambe, tell him that his reconstruction is bad and that you can do better, I'm sure he'd be happy to supply you with his sources.*
Not really for me. These images have that artificial, over-processed "aquarel" look to them.

I'm no expert, but I'd take a guess at Asperger syndrome. Milder symptoms than autistic disorder, but often have problems in certain areas of language, such as understanding humour or figures of speech.

sorry I type what I want said that is all.
The people on this board don't know anything about you. The only way they can judge you, and form an opinion of your personality, is from reading what you type.
What I'm saying is, if you type like a moron, people will think you are a moron.
Please note:
1. The memorabilia forum is for official material only, trading bootlegs and/or workprints is not allowed. I've moved this topic into a more appropriate forum.
2. In general, this forum is more focused on genuine movie fans preserving and sharing lost pieces of movie history, rather than collectors trading to increase the size of their collection. There is little value in posting a long list of stuff you have; pick the one that's the most interesting or most in demand, upload it somewhere, and start a discussion about it.
You seem to have missed the part of my post where I asked you to try using paragraphs and punctuation.
Just like you missed all the poo references in your other thread.

As much as I think the team_negative_one/-1 posting style is absurd, I have to ask: Which forum rule does it violate?
As others have said, primarily it's the "one account per user" rule. When Team first joined, I thought it was a different person, but Neg1's idiosyncratic posting (and that some of the IP addresses match) make it clear that he is now using Team's account.
There is also forum etiquette, that dictates that users should consider how their typing may affect the forum experience for other users. Random hard returns are just as annoying, at least to me, as all caps or a total absence of punctuation.
And of course there's the unwritten rule that you should not piss me off.
Well done for actually doing a proper capture, and not just pointing a camera at your TV (like many YouTube users do). Would you like to explain your capture process? Please take your time when posting, and try and use paragraphs and punctuation.
I still find it hard to believe you're 18, I watched some of your other videos from 2008/2009 and I'd guess you were about 11/12 at the time, which would make you 16 now.
Dolby's suggested bitrate for 2.0 in AC3 in 192 kbps. This is transparent to me - I cannot tell the difference between uncompressed PCM and a 192 kbps AC3. This is not opinion, this is fact: proven via a double-blind ABX test.
This is not to say that 192 kbps is transparent to everyone; it's possible that there are some people, maybe with better ears or better equipment, who can tell the difference. I also suspect it's quite likely that some people think they would easily be able to tell the difference, but if they actually tried to prove it via an ABX they would fail.
When it comes to audio, opinions are quite often bullshit. I would advise you to spend some time reading on listening tests at the hydrogenaudio.org forums, and try some tests of your own.
It is even possible that some people would be able to distinguish between 640 kbps AC3 and the uncompressed original. The only way to be sure your audio is transparent to everyone is to keep it uncompressed, or use lossless compression. As far as I know there is no free or open source software that can compress to DTS-HD MA or Dolby TrueHD, but if you wanted to release your project as an MKV instead of a structured BD you can easily include lossless FLAC audio.
You wouldn't even need to do a 44.1 to 48 kHz conversion, saving another potentially non-transparent stage, but I'm not sure how well hardware players would support playback of an MKV containing 44.1 kHz FLAC audio.
I guess I must be in a good mood this evening. I even put in the two missing apostrophes.
