He actually never says he doesn’t know R2.

He also never gives any indication of knowing him, or C-3PO. I would be bothered by that if I took the prequels seriously.

I mean I don’t deny that, it’s just weird to frame the question as why does “Obi-wan lie about not knowing R2?” when it really should be “why doesn’t Obi-wan seemingly make any recognition of R2?”

The only way to make sense of it all, is to just assume that Obi-Wan doesn’t give sh!t about droids. or is senile.

I was glad to see your comments of 4K not looking like film. I agree. Many films or TV programs I’ve seen in 4K have the soap opera look to it…kinds like 60 fps with LOTR did for me.

At this time it seems like Rottentomatoes is in the spotlight, while a site that isn’t in the media all the time like IMDb has a more realistic score as well as a bigger userbase.
