JUST THE FACTS

This project ended years ago.....

Never was finished......

Only a myth........

Whatever floats the net was not this project.

Project ended due to copyright reasons.

The thread was supposed to be removed but still exists.

Only a few minutes of film was restored then destroyed dues to copyright reasons.

Not sure what version the guys above have because it was not this project.

Not sure HOW I can put this...

The only project that was ever completed was Superman II RIC and who the hell knows who did that.

Please read post number one in this thread......

PROJECT ENDED DUE TO COPYRIGHT REASONS.

If you want and extended version you must purchase the 152 minute extended cut which is available on Amazon for a low price.

Hopefully this puts this nightmare to an end for all and let's people know that IT DOES NOT OR WILL EVER EXIST.

Idea & Info: Star Wars Deleted Scenes - Reincorporated?
Time

PhineasBg did something similar with Highlander II.

We called it the kitchen sink edition

Basically, without restoring footage we just spliced every single piece of footage known to man, cannes footage, documentary footage, all known version together.

This created a heck of a long version but was very jarring. However, it was fun to watch since it had all known material. Using the original soundtrack we went back and added footage. We also did this with DUNE - Third Stage

With Dune we had to guess on the what score would have been used for deleted footage. With Star Wars, there is a boat load of soundtracks and audio. For example, I believe the score for the Treadwell scene exisits in audio form somewhere. Some of the audio could be used from the radio star wars for some scenes.

Would be a fun project.

Worked fine for me, wonderful work.

My question is this. I am a purist and would love to have the un-restored version also Any chance for a supplemental disc that includes the unaltered dirty unrestored version?

Thanks

Great work btw!! My friend and I did similar work on Superman The KCOP Cut

lots of passes were used on the 16mm cut we used

PS78: Pre-ANH Star Wars Bootleg VHS from 1978 ***"RAW" DVD RELEASED***
Time

You know, I saw the re-release of Star Wars at the late 100 Twin Drive-In in Minnesota.

It was in 78' because of Young Frankenein playing in front of it.

Anyhow, I remember that like it was yesterday. I had just went to KMart prior to sitting in the back of the old Duster and got 3PO and Chewbacca Kenner toys. Anyhow, I remember that grappling scene as well cause my dad said OOPS!!!

Just saying!!!

well I was expecting it to look like my 16mm STM

or the ESB 35mm transfer Theatre Presentation

The bottom line is I was expecting pen marks, dirt, hair, splice marks, reel changes etc.... Bottom line is this is years and years old, I expect a terrible shape.

Someone took care of this.

I have a 35 mm in the can of the THING and the color is very washed out after sitting in the cans
