Thanks for your efforts! I too have yet to see this movie. So far i've just checked out a minute or so and it looked great! And sounded great as well! Very happy for the LD-audio but I must say that the 5.1 mix didn't sound half bad either! :)

Good to see that so many are willing to try and create something that will do this movie the justice it deserves! I for one havn't seen it for some 15 years and I feel that it's about time for a re-visit. But in such a case I want everything to be close to perfect :) Good luck everyone!

When I got the special edition dvd some 10 years ago I was amazed how good it looked compared to my old vhs from my childhood. But the new 5.1 mix  sounded far worse! :( Later on I got myself the US dvd with the mono intact.
