To be honest, I've got other things to do, and this transfer is going to take some time anyways, so I won't be posting here much anymore. This project has been something that I started with personal interest to begin with, and I'll just do it one day at a time, as time permits.

I will still be contactable by e-mail, but don't expect PM's to be read anytime soon. There's no point logging in and watching someone else play the "victim" - it's almost funny, but not quite.

Anyways, for those of you working on transfers who have with technical questions, feel free to e-mail me. I'm not going to respond to e-mails regarding availablity and pricing (odd for a capitalist, but there you go.)

Anyways, I will miss you guys, and these boards were fun, but I've a bad taste in my mouth and need to move on. Good luck to all those willing to put real effort into their transfers.

Sorry, I didn't take it as such, I'm just sick and tired of all this unnecessary anti-American/anti-Capitalism bashing, and there appears to be no end in sight. There are plenty other boards to go to - it's just sad to see one extremely biased person being allowed to overun these boards.

Ironically, I actually talked Rikter out of not leaving this forum, but it's almost not worth it anymore.

The very fact that you personally directed it towards me speaks volumes as to your intent. And now, once again, you are forced to draw a very fine line of distinction to save face with your precious viewpoint. This is just another in a long line of ridiculous and biased accusations towards me personally, and Americans as a whole (though even your fellow countryman finds your opinions outlandish and embarrasing to Australians.)

The last thing these boards need is another jimbo, and sadly enough, I know of a few people who are going to leave these boards pretty soon if Jay doesn't put you in line soon.

Get the clue, DanielB - everyone on these boards is laughing at you, even Laserman and skeg64. Get a grip, or get lost. You are adding nothing constructive to theses forums, and in fact are sucking the life out of them.

And I've used neither. I used the Faces set, which isn't as faded out. Perhaps that would explain why my transfer has better colors than yours. I know that I really had to darken down my first transfer made with the Def. Col. In fact, looking at your transfer, Leia's face looks a little too pasty-white, and her hair is light brown.

But we know it's a see-through dress, and therefore cannot be completely white.

Then you need to pick one. That being said, Leia's shoulder can be seen through her dress in my transfer, so it can't be completely white.

But you just agreed with me.

If that's the color her dress is in that scene, then it should be the same in the rest of the scenes, unless you think she changed her warddrobe.

Which means the Tantive scene is wrong? The color of her dress seems pretty consistent throughout that scene. I think you need to be more focused on the dress, rather than the colors around it. This can have an effect on the perceived color of the dress.

I might also point out that one reason the dress isn't completely white is because it is made of a very thin material, and you are seeing some skin tones through the dress (this effect is more pronounced where the dress rests on her shoulders.) If you up the white on it, you are ultimately missing out on some important "details" - i.e. the trash compactor scene. There's a reason why they had to tape her boobs down.

MeBeJedi I just spent the better part of an hour deleting spyware shit that my 12-year-old brother infected the PC with. You seem to be the kind of person that would claim it is your right to put in an EULA "we will put some invasive software on your PC" - without actually saying it like that, and making it seem more normal, and then use bait-software to infect people with invasive software that earns you revenue. That of course is not your right, and it is a completely illegal contract under Australian law.

Not really, but it's only supposed to be dialogue anyways. Most of the effects will come from the left or right. I don't know what you are using to compile your AC3, but Vegas allows you to control each channel independantly, and throughout the soundtrack as well.

BTW, where's the white balance filter again?
