Or, at the very least, could have acted sooner to prevent the Jedi order from being wiped out. The graphic novel doesn't make it clear why he took so long to contact Yoda. Maybe he didn't feel it necessary until Anakin dropped the ball and became a Sith?

Wow, excellent job! My player doesn't have AC3 out, so I've never been able to try this (my audio card has optical/digital in/outs.) Nice to know it's possible.

Oh no...I only use BeSweet to split AC3s and Wavs. I use Vegas to create my AC3 files.

I've not tried FFMpeg, but BeSweet worked for me. I'm not sure why it's considered "bad", but I know that ADM has not gotten it to work for him. Maybe he should try FFMpeg.

Were you able to record the AC3 soundtrack as AC3 in that manner, or was it converted to PCM in the process?

Very nice, Rik. I like the DS looming over the Earth. Did you make that yourself?

BTW, what software do you use to create these covers? Specifically, does the software indicate the size of the front, back, and spline, so you know if your imgaes and text stay within the border?

With respect to my esteemed colleague (

), this is still a faily informal forum, and people who do not care for your project need not read the thread. A certain unnamed poster never quite understood that message, and now he is no longer with us.

While I don't think that every single new project should be given a thread, I do think that yours clearly displays a great deal of hard work, and a variety of interesting techniques and choices. At the other end of the spectrum would have been a transfer like Spider's, which, as many would recall, was simply made by connecting a laserdisc player to a stand-alone DVD recorder. That is not the type of project that deserves a dedicated thread.
