STAR WARS: Symphony for a Saga
Time
Bad: They are MP3's (oh well )

Good: They sound pretty sound. I just listened to Leia's theme (would you believe a fan of the OT soundtracks like me doesn't know them by name? I hope Neil doesn't lose all respect for me), and I love the slow crescendo to the climax. These don't have to match the films. I can't wait to hear the rest.

Ugly: Rikter (Don't tell him I said so )

Lucas responsible for new trend in movie making

"And I'm sure someone will say "Hey! I liked Sky Captain, you stupid InfoDroid!"

Actually, I rather enjoyed it. At the very least, the creators were honest and made no bones about the true concept of the film. Then again, I'm a fan of the Blair Witch project, because I appreciate the concept that the film was trying to achieve (and I'm not a big fan of horror films that trade real suspense for "look how scary our monster looks!")

"But, honestly, there is more to the guy's body of work than just Star Wars. (Dare I say it?)"

No, but that is his most successful body of work. Considering that most of his other projects were stinkers (Radioland Murders, BTW, showcased many CG environments and sets, and he is also credited for writing the story), I don't see much of a directing/writing future for him after ROTS. Actors aren't the only people who can be typecast.

Liningup.net and StarWarsTV online video channel

I've never been one for standing in long movie lines (I've not been to a theater since TPM except for Finding Nemo), but I have to say it's kinda funny to support people who are standing in the wrong line. From what I've seen of the new theater that is playing ROTS, I can understand why Lucas changed venues (after all, what is "tradition" to a guy who wipes his hands of the original SW films.)

But, I digress......

Info: Interest in DVD Trading Anyone?

"Some of the quality isn't that great"

Well, I noticed a lot of your compilations are on SLP mode, and that's not good - not to mention the wear and tear of making copies. I'll make a short list for you, but if you have some favorites, let me know.

I'll even "trade" you my earlier transfer - which will soon be eclipsed by my new transfer.
