You mean Fox right? Fox owns the PT right now. And yes, Fox made the mistake of releasing sequels before prequels before. Don’t expect them to keep making the same mistake.
Wow, that brings up a good point, with GL no longer in charge. That means if they make a Boba Fett movie that they might use the voice of whoever portrays him rather than hire back the guy from the prequels. That’s what a normal studio would do anyway. So how would that be? Boba Fett with yet another voice?

What? All the PT films were remastered in 3D? And they only released 1 in theatres? Wow, that sucks. Woulda liked to see 3 in 3D!

According to this Boba Fett is only considered alive cause GL said he survived Sarlacc, but how is that canon if it ain’t portrayed in any media anywhere. Thats the canon that really matters. GL changes his mind all the time so until it’s in media it shouldn’t be considered canon.
I tried googling for footage or info but couldn’t find anything. I seem to recall that in theatres when Darth Maul fell down the shaft that he wasn’t sliced in half and they added that in the home versions. I thought I saw footage of that but I can’t find anything anymore.

Episode 1 is boring, 2 is not that great, but I really like 3. In fact, I probably watched it too much. Holiday Special is just hard to take tho. I don’t really drink so I have to take it straight. You kinda watch it for the cameos of the old characters. Kinda like TFA except TFA has alot more to offer besides the old character cameos.
Well, it came today. I cant wait to tear into the special features. Especially the OT docs and stuff. I’ll probably watch Ep 1 first.
I know after Ep VIII Is gonna be a han solo movie. Then after that Ep IX. But what comes after that? Has that been decided yet? I don’t think I read anywhere that they decided what comes last. After that how long do they wait to make the next Star Wars movies then? Far as I’m concerned they could keep making Star Wars movies as long as they wanted. Marvel has managed to keep making movies in the same universe for a long time and fatigue hasn’t set in yet. So it could work for Star Wars too.

I love the DVD menu CG renders in the 2004 OT releases. Loved em very much. Looking forward to one day owning them and seeing them again.
O wait, that wouldn’t work either. Ep VI was about 30 years ago and Palpatine died then so he can’t be her father. Unless they are saying the sequels take place 19 years after VI. People age badly in these films. Obi Wan and Vader look pretty bad in IV-VI for only being 20 years after III. Maybe they’re gonna do that again and say Luke is only 19 years older and he looks like hell anyway.
I don’t mind spoilers to TFA, watched it twice and it’s coming on Starz next month. Didn’t expect a spoiler for later films tho. I think I’ll just unsubscribe to this thread.

I didn’t watch it on youtube. I downloaded a iso off pirate bay. It has the original audio or rifftrax audio selectable. It also has commmercials embedded and colors corrected. It was made with the best video source available. Think they said it was a 1st generation VHS.
Maybe it’s a visual representation of the force.
Dude, aside from the fact that you shouldn’t talk about piracy here, TFA is going to be on iTunes in something like two and a half weeks. Watching a legit home video of TFA instead of a crappy cam should be enough incentive to just wait it out a little while longer.
Not only that, it’s gonna be on Starz next month. Just DVR it and you have it for free.
Would you like if they offered 2 versions. One with original coloring, and one with coloring matching the current Star Wars movies?
I already saw it with the corrective coloring in that special edition they released with the Rifftrax. I wouldn’t mind seeing an attempt at coloring it to look similar to the re-released movies and the prequels.
