Eyes wide shut is a small example in the US DVD nudity and sexual movements in certian scenes have been digitally censored, but the rest of the world "region" DVDs are the uncensored prints...

(sorry for the double post)
Here in Belgium it is even allowed to show nudity (not to much but it is allowed) in kidsshows, so the censorship in the US is just ridicouless

Shhh! Pat Robertson might be reading these posts! He might proclaim his wish to bomb Belgium for that!

lol, don't expect me to be here for a while, i'm digging a tunnel to Japan in my backyard

Sith is uncut, it had the "12" higher rating, they have certain rules on things like headbutts etc in films for younger people like Star Wars, they used to be very strict even with adult rated films until a few years ago, when they changed the person in charge of the BBFC. so they are less strict now and most things now get through uncut, but certain things like animal creulty are still a big no-no and are still cut from films etc

LOL! So in the UK is it allowed to show crowds of people getting killed but not an idiot headbutt scene of just a second :S

Brithish Censors answer

LOL! Then why do they don't cut the sequence of Vader cutting Luke's hand of in ESB. Vader had a mechanical arms and Luke has organic ones, so why leave it in there. Then just give the movie a higher rating then cutting a beheading scene of just 1 second.

I'm happy they don't do this over here in Belgium, so whe always get the uncut version

What's the situation with Lucas saying he "forgot" to insert Temuerra Morrison's voice into the OT?
Time
WTF????
If that happens i'm going to burn the first store with a DVD package of it down!!
If he really is going to do this the OT would almost be bigger then it already is (not the O-OT, i'm talking about the SE).
This does even make less sense then Greedo shooting first or the CG Jabba scene.
About burning the store down, want to join me and burn all stores that offer it down

Oh, I was wondering this because I got it at the same store together with SWBFII and ROTS. I thought they lowered the rating because of ROTS.

The top signs your a diehard PT fan
Time
1. You loved Jake Lloyd in Phantom Menace - NO
2. You think that George Lucas planned the entire backstory in the 70's, so you blame all the plotholes on the OT. - Those ploteholes where made thanksto the PT, so NO
3. Your least favorite Star Wars movie is Star Wars. - It is actually one of my favorite movies
4. You hope that Yoda goes cgi in the next version of Empire and Jedi - No, I rather see Frank puppetering Yoda
5. You hope Palpatine and Yoda appear in the next version of Star Wars - I would like to see Palpatine, but not Yoda.
6. You'd love to have Duel of the Fates added to all the OT lightsaber fights - No, that whould sound terrible
7. The Padme/Anakin romance scenes did not make you laugh and the dialogue in those scenes was perfect. - I didn't laugh at those scenes, I didn't think the dialogue was perfect but they where better then the Jar-Jar scenes
8. You LOVE seeing Hayden at the end of Jedi - I like Sebastian better as Anakin at the end of ROTJ
9. You think the PT would have existed even if the OT had never been made - No, because ILM would never have invented the Pixar computer, and without that there would never been a system build that could make the effects required for the PT.
10. You think that all three prequels will stand the test of time and be even more popular 20 years after their releases than the OT films were. - I think then they will be more popular then they now are, but the OT will always be more popular.
11. Jar Jar Binks did not bother you that much. In fact, you secretely like him. - NO, I think he sucks
12. You think Dex's diner is way cooler than the Mos Eisley Cantina - They have the same coolness level
13. You wish Vader had a new love interest in the OT - NO, defenitly not!
14. The OT films look like they were made 50 years ago to you - No, they actually almost look better (more realistic) then the PT
15. You don't understand half the stuff that happens in Phantom Menace but you love it anyway - I do understand everything that happend in TPM but it is one of my least favorite movies.

Overall: I'm a HARDCORE OT FAN

Follow the links to get the covers. Let me know when you have them and I will remove the files and links.

The problem with the 1994 set is the silver foil logo's on the covers which come out black when scanned. If anyone knows how to cure this problem, please let me know as I have tried everything I know of.

This is a pretty good transfer; although it doesn't quite have the detail of the Moth3r or Citizen versions, it's still very well done and I'm sure many people will appreciate the subtitles.

I loved this:

No wonder all Dutch people can speak English, if it's that easy to learn.

LOL! I already could speak english when I was 3, thanks to Star Wars, because English and Dutch are almost the same language
Afterall, "This are the same Jawas that sold us Artoo and Treepio" is almost the same as "Dit zijn dezelfde Jawas die ons Artoo en Treepio verkochten"
