The editing for Kylo Ren’s new lines in the hanger scene are outstanding!

Once we can get Jon H’s new sequence with Sebastian Shaw, Leia’s purple lightsaber, Anakin’s crackly blade and the color correction all in one, the Force ghost sequence will be absolutely perfect to me.

Holy shit indeed! Jonh, do you think it’s possible you could send us this clip for fan editors to use? Maybe someone could color correct the footage and do the same for the lightsabers. I think I like this version even more!

I don’t know. It is a bit time consuming to go back to a project like this, unlike doing a movie again.

Wow! I didn’t expect this, but thanks a lot, BenVenn! This was a really nice surprise. I have been thinking on making more new covers with hand painted artwork from the movies, simular to Drew Struzan’s work on the poster to Philosopher’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets. I’ve seen some fan made posters for the other movies that I’ve been considering, but couldn’t find any good ones for Half-Blood Prince.

Regardless, I love these covers you made, BenVenn, and they will go great with other alternate covers. Thanks!

True, I still think it would make sense for it to be Ben. Besides, it’s a fan edit, you can do whatever you want, but it’s Hal’s edit, and he can choose whether he wants it or not.

I know this project is pretty much complete, but I thought came to me if anyone has done VFX work to put young Ben Solo and Snoke when Rey looks down the hallway at Cloud City, and Luke and Vader fighting behind her.

I may have said this before, but just in case if I didn’t, just an idea.

I believe it was Spence’s edit that used music from Knights of the Old Republic.

Just new to this, but does anyone here happen to have the Japanese dubs of the Sequel Trilogy in either stereo or 5.1?

I’m assuming that once V2 is out, discussions for the Rey Nobody version will start.

Yeah, it seemed to me to be a slightly more integrated look, given that several scenes were sourced from the DVD. It mattered less for ROTS than AOTC, but it still felt like the right choice. I used Schorman’s V2 of the HDTV version. The only thing I think that would’ve been good to include from 2011 was the moss on the Kashyyk hut, but even then, who cares? I definitely didn’t want to use any of the audio changes made.

Yeah, I understand. Really the only video changes were the moss and diagonal wipe from Obi-Wan mourning to Anakin crawling. The Clone Trooper voices on Utapau sounded too much like a fan edit and were just thrown in.
