Has there been a solid Rey Nobody implementation yet? I love the stuff happening for Ascendant but the movie won’t feel complete unless Rey Palpatine is scrubbed forever.
I agree!
Hang on, I’ve been busy lately too. Am I missing out on something here? Sorry, just wondering what has been occurring on V2 so far.
Wow! I didn’t expect this, but thanks a lot, BenVenn! This was a really nice surprise. I have been thinking on making more new covers with hand painted artwork from the movies, simular to Drew Struzan’s work on the poster to Philosopher’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets. I’ve seen some fan made posters for the other movies that I’ve been considering, but couldn’t find any good ones for Half-Blood Prince.
Regardless, I love these covers you made, BenVenn, and they will go great with other alternate covers. Thanks!
I’ve never read the books before, but seems like as good a way as any.
Have you seen the movies?
I’m now starting work on Order of the Phoenix!
Hope you have fun! Thanks for your hard work!
Thanks! I’m getting close to finishing a two year long project, which should hopefully give me more time to work on the audiobooks.

This could be helpful for looking for C-3PO lines.

True, I still think it would make sense for it to be Ben. Besides, it’s a fan edit, you can do whatever you want, but it’s Hal’s edit, and he can choose whether he wants it or not.
What about young Ben Solo and Snoke? She saw them down the hallway in the novelization.
Passage?
This is taken from the novel written by Alan Dean Foster.
A heavy, slow, mechanical breathing filled the room. Turning, she found herself looking down an impressive hallway, its architecture reminiscent of the Old Empire. Peering harder, farther, she saw in the distance a section of the famed Cloud City. Two figures were locked in combat, distant, distant. Someone, somewhere, somewhen, spoke her name.
“Hello?” Wreathed in the irrationality of the moment, she called hopefully, but received no answer.
A boy appeared at the end of the hallway. She started toward him, and the world turned inside out, causing her to trip and fall.

Just to work them in somehow?
If you’re interested, then sure.
I know this project is pretty much complete, but I thought came to me if anyone has done VFX work to put young Ben Solo and Snoke when Rey looks down the hallway at Cloud City, and Luke and Vader fighting behind her.
I may have said this before, but just in case if I didn’t, just an idea.
I believe it was Spence’s edit that used music from Knights of the Old Republic.
Just new to this, but does anyone here happen to have the Japanese dubs of the Sequel Trilogy in either stereo or 5.1?
I’m assuming that once V2 is out, discussions for the Rey Nobody version will start.
What was the additional clone line?

What was wrong with the added clone dialogue on Utapau?
It felt quite out of place.
Hey, Hal. I just noticed something about your current version of this edit. None of the additions/changes made in the 2011 Blu-ray are present. Did you use a HDTV source for this current version of Episode III? If so, I was wondering why you went with it? Better coloring?
Yeah, it seemed to me to be a slightly more integrated look, given that several scenes were sourced from the DVD. It mattered less for ROTS than AOTC, but it still felt like the right choice. I used Schorman’s V2 of the HDTV version. The only thing I think that would’ve been good to include from 2011 was the moss on the Kashyyk hut, but even then, who cares? I definitely didn’t want to use any of the audio changes made.
Yeah, I understand. Really the only video changes were the moss and diagonal wipe from Obi-Wan mourning to Anakin crawling. The Clone Trooper voices on Utapau sounded too much like a fan edit and were just thrown in.

[Didn’t mean to post.]
Okay. This is how I think the scene would best play out.
“A thousand generations live in you now. We’ll always be with you… but this is your fight.”
Completely remove Luke telling Rey to take both sabers with her, which I wasn’t the biggest fan of the line. I think Rey should make that decision herself, rather than being told to by Luke. Very much like how in your edit of Episode II, you removed Mace Windu instructing Anakin to talk to Palpatine about taking Padmé back to Naboo, in order to make Anakin come off as competent and mature. Leia’s saber is something Luke is offering to her, feeling Leia would give it to her at some point when she was alive.
I’ll admit, I agree with Movies Remastered. I would have removed the line, “You’ll take both sabers to Exegol.” I think Rey should make the decision that Luke offers, that being Leia’s saber.
There is a blue and green color in the theatrical version when she ignites her blade. Changing it to blue and purple assumes she used Luke and Leia’s crystals from their now broken lightsabers to create her own.
Okay, but blue and purple don’t create yellow when following how colors are made. Unless the color of the blade will be changed too.
I will admit, I don’t understand the change in recoloring the lights on Rey’s saber to blue and purple. Why and how will it look in the end? Just a little confused.
