I still like the two-shot option that Hal posted with the TIE fighters circling around the castle and across the forest. The Biome shot is set for Rogue One, even if it is color corrected to match the look of The Rise of Skywalker. I’d say stick with the two shot option over the Biome shot.
I don’t have Final Cut Pro, and I don’t have the Film Grain effect. Could applying a super light filter of video noise be a good secondary option to fix the look of the 2011 Blu-ray?

Hey, Hal. I know you’re trying to find a way to replace Luke’s line, “Leia told me that she had sensed the death of her son at the end of her Jedi path,” with “Leia told me that she had sensed the birth of her son at the end of her Jedi path.” I think I know a solution.
There are voice cloning softwares out there that are like deepfakes but for voices. It’s possible to just clone Mark Hamill’s voice and replace just the one word with “death” to “birth.”

Sounds good to me. I still really like Adywan’s entrance to Mos Eisley, apart from using the Dianoga track that was added in the Special Edition.
Also, if you’re interested in hearing what the Dianoga scene would have played like with the original intended track, I pieced it together last year here.
Does anyone know where one could find the original music for the entrance into Mos Eisley. The SE uses ‘Diamond,’ but the original version had a short little bumpy piece of music during the approach to the trooper checkpoint.

Here is how I feel, Hal. I think Rey’s milky eyes should be replaced with Sith eyes in that one brief shot. Also, when she shows her sharp teeth, I think the Sith eyes should flash up at that moment.

How about some new dialogue so Redeemed Ben’s last line isn’t “ow”? It would have to be small and done sparingly so as not to feel fake and out of place, but it would probably be doable and effective to find some samples of Adam Driver quietly saying “Rey,” “no,” and “I’m sorry” when he finds her dead.

More than halfway through Philosopher’s Stone (finally) and found a few times the music was a little too loud for the narration. The flying class for example.
