I had to look that up. Ghosts appear in Deathly Hallows 2, I just assumed John Cleese was there, but according to Imdb, once again, Chris Columbus was the only one to use the character.
Now I’m wondering if he shot Peeves scenes for Chamber of Secrets as well.

Not to derail the thread, but apparently the test screening for Order of the Phoenix had Peeves as well.

I don’t know if this was already mentioned or not, but Movies Remastered, I noticed, did a video talking about a continuity error involving Rey still having Anakin’s lightsaber after giving it to Leia.

Is it possible that VFX can be done to remove it hanging from her belt in the shot where she runs to grab the Jedi texts during the Resistance briefing?

Hey, Hal. One addition that I noticed on the list that will be in V2 that I don’t think you’ve really touched upon is Leia vocalizing when she drops the headphones. Exactly what will she say in the brief moment? A gasp?

All I gotta say is that I have my fingers crossed it will be out by at least December.

I’m sure the reason jonh has been away is because he’s been busy with his filmmaking career.

I think some vocal effects do need to be applied to Ross Beadman’s voice for the final version.

Right now, it’s best to focus on completing the remaining VFX and ideas for Rey Nobody as well. We’re just an inch away from V2 becoming a reality.

Isn’t poppasketti also working on the crackly saber alongside RogueLeader?

I’ve been hoping that Warner Bros would do something like this, or even better, release even more deleted scenes that people haven’t seen yet, while also putting a little money into the unfinished VFX. You’d be spending even less money than over $50 million on reconstructing Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League. But, it seems like they’re not going to do anything special like that to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Philosopher’s Stone.

So, Neverar. I know this is your thread for The Force Awakens, but what are your plans/goals for your edit of The Last Jedi?

I really liked V3 of the Force Ghost sequence that jonh did back in May, but I guess the Phantom Four do make sense within the technical terms. Qui-Gon never managed to learn how to appear physically, we can assume Mace Windu didn’t either, Leia’s body hadn’t disappeared yet, and we still don’t know Ahsoka’s fate. Maybe in the future jonh will come back to do a version with Sebastian Shaw as Anakin, but who knows. Fingers crossed.

Can’t wait for V2 of Ascendant to come out real soon. Just re-watching Restructured, Starlight, Legendary, Rekindled and V1 again at the moment.

Superman Returns is now done and out. I’ll update it once the deepfake shots are done.

How’s the progress on the crackly saber? I’m assuming things are going well. I myself have been busy, though I think you’re attempts at “Captain Hux” sound really nice, Sherlock.
