Luke and Leia look like CGI because of the compositing; they end up with a “floating head” effect. Billie Lourd did provide the physical performance onto which the Leia footage was pasted, though.

It’s also worth looking into for the brief young Leia appearance in the flashback. Luke looks fine but Leia is definitely in the uncanny valley like her appearance in Rogue One. A simple deepfake should fix that.

They didn’t use deepfakes for Luke and Leia, they used footage from The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi for that scene, but I see what you mean.

Hopefully it will come out real soon. Fingers crossed.

Thanks, man. I’ve thankfully have been getting back into Half-Blood Prince and I’m starting to get my food and fun back. It’s just that distractions and even mood switching to other interests can interfere at times. This is why I usually take about a month off in between books.

Is it possible that lines referring to blood may still be left in? It could refer to the Dark Side nature and destiny, rather than a blood relationship status.

I see. So, essentially Rey’s eyes (NeverarGreat) and the desert and Kijimi sequences with the crackly saber are left in terms of video stream. I think the remaining stuff with the saber is being done by either poppasketti or RogueLeader.

Here is kewlfish’s work. Something tells me that the reason they may not be used is because the community felt the crackle was either inconsistent or not strong enough. Just hope nobody will get pissed at me for bringing this up if I may be not aware of an old conversation on the thread.

That’s odd, because I found everything he did on Vimeo and Drive.

By the way, I was going through the old posts, and noticed that kewlfish did crackle videos on Ajan Kloss, Pasaana, Kijima and the Star Destroyer. Luka Frik finished the work for the Death Star and Exegol. How come kewlfish’s stuff isn’t being used then? Combining kewlfish and Luka Frik’s work, and it’s done. Is it an inconsistent crackle? I must be missing something.
