I got this quote off of the website nohandluke suggested, and this quote by Kershner is the best description of the PT I have ever heard.

"The thing that you learn in directing is that no matter how complex the shooting, you have to remain sensitive to the people around you or the machine will ultimately take over. If you don't keep in mind the essential humanity of it all, technique will dominate. Then, suddenly, all you've got are technically fine shots, technically fine performances, a story being told but with something lacking, something that is mysterious and indefinable. I used to not be able to stand watching ESB. I always used to think it was boring because a major part of the movie was Luke traning on a boring swamp planet. I thought ROTJ was the best because it had action and furry midgets kicking ass. But now ESB means so much more to me. It has humor, romance, suspense, and action and that makes ESB hold up against the test of time. Oh, I can't believe that I used to hate ESB.

The pan and scan versions of these movies will have the OOT in a widescreen format. So no matter which version of the DVD's you by, you will get the OOT in widescreen. This has already been stated by online salers like Amazon.com.

I know this off topic but how is your HD-DVD player working? Quality wise. I have been hearing some bad reports of them freezing up and being slow. I was thinking of buying one and was just wondering.

Weyseed you are correct Knights of the Old Republic The Sith Lords does have a classification system of jedi based on their blade colors.
Blue is guarduian.
Green is consular.

Thats only because he has the oppertunity to release a longer one. Its mainly so people will have a choice. Some people like long movies so this will be great for them. I just want to see the extra Skull Island footage thats been talked about.

I think the length is due to the studio being lazy and not letting P.J. shorten it.

I have a widescreen TV and 3 other 4:3 tv's. There are still alot of people out there under 60 that have a 4:3 TV somewhere in there house.

Both full screen and widescreen dvds will have a widescreen presentation of the OOT. At least thats what Amazon.com says.

The Prequels are wht need to be changed. Everything worked fine and then George created the prequels and created all kinds plot holes. It is like they let a monkey write the scripts!
