I was going to go have some fun over at star wars.com too and piss some people off but it lost its appeal after Zion started speaking some sense. Thank you Zion I just about made a stupid descision.

JediRandy the Vaderface DVD boxset sucks when it comes to quality! A New Hope has a constant blue tent in white areas, Vader's lightsaber is pink with no visible white core, and the Force Fan Fair during the Battle of Yavin is completely drowned out for half of the battle.George Lucas said that was a creative choice, but that is complete and utter bull shit. On the French audio on the disc you can hear the force fan fair just fine for the complete battle. Lucas is a leech every time he releases something he feeds us lies about how it is so much better, but when we get it it is no better than what we had.

Vader would not try to kill luke once he found out who he was because he wanted luke to help him kill the emperor in th next movie. It would create bad continuity.

Troy I am so glad that this was brought up by somebody because this could really be the missing piece to tie ESB to ROTJ. Because right now ROTJ is sort of floating out there by itself or at least thats what I think.

I was wondering if anybody had thought of taking the best parts of the PT and making them into seperate episodes like the Clone Wars series? I think this could be interesting if done right. Anybody interested in giving this a try?

I am so sick of George lucas's obsession with CGI. He could care less if he makes a good movie as long as he has 2,000+ CGI effects shots. Now with his modeling unit probably leaving all his and ILM's future ingagments will look like lifeless cartoons.

Tiptup, regarding number 3 on your list, lightsabers and how they work was explained in the OT Visual Dictionary. They use 2 crystals to control plasma and force it into a controled rod state. All they are is controlled plasma. The Visual Dictionary also said that when building a lightsaber if the crystals are not properly placed inside the handle the plasma energy will become unstable upon activation, and blow up and disintegrate the jedi who was building it. You have to be force sensitive to build one, because the force guides them and tells them where to place the crystals. It does not matter who uses it.
