I posted the one where Qui-gon was inserted into the ending a while back. I am not really sure where the thread is at now. This ending is okay, but I still like the original the best.

If you take Track 10 "Clash of the Lightsabers" on disc 2 of the Empire Strikes Back CD and start the track when Ben walks up and sees Vader, it plays great along side the footage and looks like it belongs with the duel. When Ben sacrifices himself the music rises just right and there many other times it blends perfectly. Also the track is the perfect length you don't have to trim any of it off for it to match up. Try it out I don't think you will be disappointed you did.

Not to be nitpicky, but I wanted to mention a couple of ideas I had regarding the planet the Death Star is over. Couldn't the Death Star be over Geonosis seeing as how the Geonosins built it? Another idea I had was it being over Couruscant since it is the Imperial Capital. Let me know what you think of these ideas, adywan.

I just wanted to let everyone know that the new VirtualDub 1.7.0 test release can create Adobe filmstrips. So now you don't have use Adobe Premiere to create filmstrips.

Hell yes!!!! Adywan, when I saw the new Death Star introduction I got this fanboy grin that I haven't had over Star wars in a long time.

Thank you for the hard work and time that you have undoubtedly put into this project. I hope you can find a new hard drive for a reasonable price, because I would hate for this project to get delayed over something like that.

The Lord of the Rings distribution rights are owned by New Line. The last DVD release of the movies was not Jackson's descision. He wanted the Costa Botes Doc. on the EE but New Line said no, and then decided to double dip later on and release the doc. after all. Peter Jackson is far from being George Lucas.

I got a new Sony Bravia LCD and it looks fantastic. DVD's have an amazingly, clear image, and HD looks even better on it.

P.S. Personally, I prefer LCD's, but that is not based on technical specs, that is just my personal preference.

That trailer was FANTASTIC! I am so excited by that trailer that I can barely put into words what I am trying to say. Basically if that trailer reflects in any way the hard work you will be putting into this project then I am sure it will be very, very enjoyable! Good work guys!

I would also advise you to use Vegas also. It allows you to create authentic looking wipes with unbelievable ease.
