Have you tried without the “star wars” in the title ?

Do you need a myspleen invite ? If so, PM me.
Worst episode so far. Already a filler episode, things need to move now. As dumb as the Mandalorian TCW episodes, but without the visual qualities of TCW. The change of the showrunner is killing the show…
TFA is my favorite movie.
Big Mickey is watching you !
I was expecting a “The Clone Wars tvseries” musical approach, something like that. Well, I’m pretty sure LFL still can change their mind about it and make it a last minute change. They have probably asked Giacchino to record something that could be used for that purpose. It would be a weird move to have a traditional blockbuster opening and not a SW opening. It’s not a real SW film, but it’s a SW film nonetheless.
Do you approve the decision to drop the crawl from Rogue One?
No.
It’s known that Brian de Palma re-wrote the opening crawl, but actual Spielberg contributions on the original SW (and the OT) I’m not sure about that; Spielberg was quite busy with his own movies at this point of his career to take the time to help Lucas. His main contribution probably was just a “never give up” encouragement.
Basically almost everyone on Earth saw ID4 in 1996. Did Spielberg also buy him pop-corn and a (rail of) coke to watch it ?
I fail to see why the ending of a Roland Emmerich movie would be a Steven Spielberg contribution to ROTJ SE. The only Spielberg contribution I know to the SW saga is one or two ideas during the Yoda v Sidious fight. What are the others ?
Ah ok, so is it how it’s called in english, “Force git” ? Anyway, I’m winning this game so far (we should retitle it “Malà’s Lurkers Name suggestions”, I’m so good at it 😃). I see you forgot “Nazi-Frink” (which is basically “real-Frink”).
All I wished is that people would examine Luke the same way they do Rey.
Ok.
It takes Luke 3 years to awkwardly “Force get” his lightsaber in the snow. A few hours after having touched the very same lightsaber, Rey succeeds in “Force getting” the saber (I really don’t know the english term) in an even more spectacular way (someone else - someone with years of Jedi/proto-Sith training - was also trying to “Force get” the saber, but she easily beats him).
It takes 4 years to Luke to master the Jedi mind trick. He succeeds with Bib, fails with Jabba. Rey fails her first attempt (which occurs only a few hours after being told the existence of the Force) but a few seconds later - for some reasons which are never explained - she succeeds.
Luke almost got killed a few times (sand people, the cantina, the trash compactor, Vader in the trench, etc.) but got saved by someone else (mostly Ben and his Force protection). Rey… hum… well, at one point she’s in danger but she manages to escape (thanks to fast learning Jedi mind trick) or in other scenes she stays alive because she knows how to shoot, to kick ass with a metallic stick, to fly the Falcon, to climb, to bypass electronic devices, to use a lightsaber (just… because the script needs her to use a lightsaber), etc.
Rey might be the most powerful character ever seen in a movie; her only pain is to witness the death of someone she only got to know a few hours. Luke struggles to get a few things done and nevertheless cannot prevent Ben, Beru, Owen or Biggs from dying.
I’ve never noticed that little look. Cool!
Ditto.
You think you know these things…
Really ? This is such a great little look, where anything can happen (do I kill him ? do I give a **** about killing him ? well, never mind…), quite surprised it got unnoticed by so many fans. Glad Ady keeps it (removing it would have been a deal-breaker… well, not really but still a little disappointment).
Wesley Crusher was a Mary Sue.
And quite an annoying one as well (but he has a few very good episodes, especially when he stops being a Mary Sue).
(by the way I love your new avatar)
There is nothing wrong with these lines, nothing jarring. The first one is normal, he gives Chewie an order; the second one is because cutting the auxilary power does not work so he makes sure Chewie heard the order the first time.
(nitpicking at its best)
5 posts in a row (6 including this one) not related at all with the thread. Thanks to “stay on topic” Nazi-Frink (nice lurker’s name suggestion) and his minions 😃
(also you’re quite predictable; try something new if you want to be funny dude, you’re “rehashing yourself”, it’s very lame…)
Who was trying to be funny?
I know you have terrible taste so if you hated it there’s a good chance it’s a good movie.
You love Ghostbusters 2k16, so I guess anything is a good movie according to you.
Yep and I don’t like Iron Man 2 either, so do I understand you love Iron Man 2 ?
With your shitty taste I don’t doubt for a second you’ll love it !

Doctor Strange
Totally pointless, never funny, and which does not tell anything (no story arcs, no interesting characters). Even Giacchino’s score is flat. Disney-Marvel flicks keep on getting worse…
2/10
Even counting TFA, there are not enough ladies wielding lightsabers in the canon SW 'verse.
The PT era has plenty of Jedi ladies of various species.
Who appear on screen for less than five seconds each and have no lines and no personality to speak of.
And are you honestly recommending me to watch the prequels? On this forum?
Oh ! Ok, so you want “ladies wielding lightsabers” with personality… I missed the personality part in “ladies wielding lightsabers” 😃 (and what about their inner beauty ? and their interesting conversations ?).
And I don’t recommend you to watch the prequels since you’ve already seen them.
I wish they would have made Leia a Jedi.
Leia being slightly Force sensitive but not a Jedi is one the best ideas regarding her character. Plus it would be very hard to find a stuntwoman who looks like her now to perform her action scenes…

New episode is pretty good.
Best episode of the third season so far. First time that one character is actually trying to figure out what the hell happened when the Clone Wars ended. I especially love the clash of PT v OT when Stormtroopers finally don’t miss their targets. The Droid Tactical officer is great, hope he will show up again later.
You should not say that. And you should also check what “should” means… hum… no, you have to/must check what “should” means.
