This is absolutely heartbreaking to read. As someone who lost months of work in the past I can feel your pain. In fact I got out of working in 3D animation just because of how much stuff I lost to a hard drive catastrophe. If I can give you any advice it would be not to give up the hobby. It’s the one thing I regret more than losing all my work. Hang in there man, we’re all pulling for you.

I always enjoy the comments that come in waves when Harmy releases a new version of these movies.

• First comes the “When is this getting released?” comments.
• Second are the “Where can I download this?” comments.
• Third are the most intense… “THIS IS AWESOME! HARMY IS A GOD!”
• Next come the crushing lows of “Are the colors right on this shot Harmy?” and “Is this an error or was it supposed to be here?”
• Luckily, for Harmy, that wave of comments is usually followed up by a second round of “THIS IS AWESOME! HARMY IS A GOD!” posts.

I’m going to skip to that last round of comments and just say thanks. This is truly a the best version of Jedi that I’ve ever seen. As always this is greatly appreciated.

Might I suggest you move the artwork around a bit so it isn’t hidden by text and logos. Something similar to this.

Speaking of old versions, CatBus, would you like us to stop seeding 8.3 on myspleen?

I’m currently using Emby which is similar to Plex and I just write custom nfo and xml files for preservations. It’s a bit more work than using a scrapper to grab the info for you but it doesn’t take much time to edit a file for a new preservation.

I finally got around to watching Jason Goes to Hell last night and the film looks and sounds great.  Where are the various audio tracks sourced from?

I'd love to see these restoration attempts compared to what DJ and his team were able to pull off.  I understand that this isn't a contest to see who can do better but if at the end of this you do end up doing better then the community as a whole benefits.

Open discussion and comparison to what has come before can only lead to a higher standard of restoration projects in the future.  I see no harm is using the TeamBlu projects as a baseline for amazing quality and attention to detail.

TeamBlu set the standard for GOUT upscales with their phenomenal Star Wars releases.

There is great work going on here and it's only natural to want to compare it to what has been done before.  When doing that why not compare it to what the community has decided is the best looking upscale done to date?

Neat idea.  I like what you've done with the intro so far.  I'm looking forward to seeing the progress on this.

Having seen the work that you've done to Hard Boiled I have to say I'm really impressed.  I have yet to get around to seeing any of your other projects but I hope to someday.

What are your plans for Iron Monkey?  I would love to see a proper HD version of the Hong Kong edit of that.

Rats. I may be totally out of luck here (unless I go for a hardware purchase). I did upgrade the firmware; no luck. Thanks for the info, though.

When I had my old computer setup I had problems playing back DTS-MA tracks all the time.  I was able to convert the DTS-MA tracks to DTS using TSmuxer with ease.  It might be worth a shot if the file is still giving you trouble.

I created an xdelta patch for going from the pre-fix version to the final fixed version (with correct audio labels, etc.). If you have the old version and don't want to redownload ~20GB or muck about with mkv editors, you can use this. Just extract it to the same folder as the mkv video file and run the .bat file. You need to make sure to have the same name as originally downloaded or to edit the .bat file if you've changed it. And be sure to have another ~20 GB available before starting as it will create a whole new file!

 Huge thanks for this Deusxanime.  I had been meaning to change my file and start seeding but I was too lazy. This was the kick in the pants I needed to get this seeding again.  I really appreciate this.

The Lake Placid movies would be great.  I'm also still holding out hope for the Critter movies.  Keep up the great work guys.

I don't know if these are available anywhere else I just wanted to chime in on what I know.  I'm sure they are available elsewhere but as I'm not connected to the team I don't really know.

The admins and team blu took down all their stuff from myspleen. 

Any chance we could see that 1080p version of Braindead on myspleen?

I picked up The Warriors in HD from iTunes awhile back and it's the theatrical cut.  I'm not sure if that info is of any use to Team Blu but I've been very happy with that purchase.

I'm not sure if this matters because I don't post very often but I used Crappy_Logo_Productions back in '05 to talk about the few fan edits I did.  Feel free to do what you want with that account Moth3r.  I stopped posting with it after getting a cease and desist letter due to my Pulp Fiction edit.  I'll return to lurker mode now.
