Watching the Centropy again, I want the theatrical cut more than ever now.

Vader’s NOOOOOOO!! I can tolerate almost every change except that one and to a lesser extent those added rocks Artoo hides behind.
I liked the food and the blue milk. My only real complaint is that the blue milk was frozen, oh and that the park wasn’t based on Star Wars!
Can someone just grade 4K77 and 4K83 with GOUT colors already?

So, you’re really just gonna show up & say you’ve illegally downloaded commercially available material?
Wow ok.
It’s OOP and on Myspleen. They are expensive second hand.
What’s your current domestic estimate, Dr. Dre?
I would say somewhere 450-550 million.
Once again, neck and neck!
What’s your current domestic estimate, Dr. Dre?
I really want 4k83 and 77 graded with GOUT colors

I hope they will edit trilogy boxsets so I can only buy the Original Hexalogy without the weird fanfic called “Sequel trilogy”.
I hope, but that’s unlikely
Sure dude, sure. If you don’t have anything to say, you can leave silence be.
You answered a satirical post about opinions stated as facts, to state an opinion as fact.
I can’t think of a single director who would be a great fit for Star Wars.
George Lucas. 😉
Wow! I never would have guessed! Maybe that’s what we’ve been missing all along!
I now really want 4K77 and 83 with GOUT colors.
I recommend looking into EBSynth to breathe life into your colorized stills.
Already a step ahead! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3et_nnd4fik
SW for me was always more than just simple popcorn movies. The fact that that’s what we ended up with is kinda sad (especially because you can see hints of something more in TROS, that are ultimately squandered).
I agree completely.
Me too…
Me three…
I’d like a regrade of 4K77 and 83 with GOUT colors and Dr. Dre’s color matching tool.
It seems like my opening weekend prediction is becoming true. Most sites are tracking a 190M opening, and it will of course make slightly more than that.
Wait, so that wasn’t due to the lack of video stabilization? I thought they’d just forgotten to add it in post.
Excepting a few who really went low I think we all might have guessed a little high, my original 245 weekend prediction from end of the summer feels comical now.
Don’t get pessimistic yet. I agree it’s unlikely that the movie can reach those numbers, but don’t underestimate Disney’s marketing machine. They would lose money on advertising if it means they got people into seats to see this movie. The box office numbers matter, the profit, not so much.
Official Thursday preview number: $40 mil.
https://twitter.com/ERCboxoffice/status/1208059178566082560So, unless Saturday/Sunday overperforms, this will likely be a $185-195mil opening weekend.
Dr. Dre, good luck! 😉

This movie is a nightmare. I’ve never seen such a exposition heavy clusterbomb. Thank goodness The Last Jedi was a self contained story, because it really can’t be touched.
The point isn’t that the OOT can’t be obtained; it’s that it’s been actively suppressed and forced into obscurity, which any cinephile should consider obscene.
Forced into obscurity? JJ Abrams mentioned the Despecialized Editions for goodness sake. 4K versions of the OOT are excellent in my book. Even better if they’re under the sole ownership of the fans.
The Rotten Tomatoes number has become its own narrative. That’s… not good news.
It’s time to inform the Senate that our ability to clear $200 million opening weekend has diminished.
I sincerely doubt this movie won’t make at least $200m opening weekend. I mean, there’s barely any competition.
It just feels like an odd idea when the rest of your post talks about making it more like TCW, which is in 2.39:1 as well.
Most material made for television was made with 16:9 in mind, otherwise, it’s usually cropped for television. It’s more about what choices would have been made if The Mandalorian was produced at a certain time, hence the similarity to clone wars, but not like Clone Wars specifically.
• Crop the show to 16:9
Ew, why?
Relax, I’d release an uncropped version if I ever when further than this idea. It’s just personal preference. 16:9 just feels more “tv” to me.
All them discs and no OOT?
Emperor violently twisting through the air with a lightsaber sounds
I am the OOT.
