I just saw this on the bits myself...
I so hope Lucas butchers these as much as he already has so that maybe some of the SE lovers will see what it feels like when he screws with the version you enjoy the most...

oh ya... and for all you SE lovers... dont think he's ever going to release the SE as it was.... that is no longer his vision...
he considers those dated and just a work in progress...

half of these movies have been made available in their "FULL" versions though...

second off i wouldnt be bothered if Lucas made a couple small changes to the movie.... but we're talking about a lot more than 1 minute of footage restored to the film or Sound effects edited....
funny that you had to actually post a list to let people know that these movies had changes made to them... looks like no one noticed them!

Star Wars on the other hand....

and 2 how in the hell can you say it's the same story, same movie, better effects.

you are so wrong about the effects!!
they sucked ass... you can tell when your looking at a CG character so hard!! ie Jabba, the two dancing dumbasses in jabba's palace in jedi...
you definatly lose the argument there!

same movie... semi except for the hundreds of effects added, dialogue added and scenes cut!
another loss for you!

and same story?
right... cuz greedo did take a shot a han first right? or Han could step on Jabba's tail with getting nothing less than a cheesy facial expression?
don't say its the same story... cuz generally it is about the same topic but with a whole load of other shit added in....
so i will give you some credit here because your half right... but didnt take into consideration all the changes which did in fact change the story...

i figured i would give a really really quick review of what i think of bf vietnam...

1. i think it is nothing at all like bf 1942 first off... (not saying this is bad or good, but if your expecting something along the same lines your totally off)
2. game is a bit more complicated as you have a ton of different weapons to choose from as well as vehicles
3. those of you who have a mediocre video card are gonna have to play it at a super low setting, if you can play it at all...

those were the major things i found about the game... so should you buy it?
i don't think so... especially for its retail price of $70
if it goes on sale for anywhere below $50 then i would consider it.... but still i think i would get more enjoyment of of bf1942...

now im looking foward to MOHPA!!!
