im talking more about content...
ROTS will mimic ROTJ in almost every way possible...

there are numerous sites on the net that explains the Lucas formula for making movies...

so most likely we can expect Anakin turning to the darkside to be almost exactly like Vader trying to convert Luke... is what im saying...
and many more similar stuff

i just hope we stop seeing people's hands/arms get cut off...
it worked well in empire but since ATOC we're seeing decapitations everywhere....

okay first off we know how much i hate the prequels...
however... i can admit when i like something...

and this soundtrack is by far the best money i have ever spent on a CD.... but lets all admit that the extra DVD it comes with takes all the credit!!!

although i wish it could have been longer and encompassed more of the music of Star Wars we can definatly expect that at a later date... hopefully...
listening to the soundtrack in 5.1 dolby digital which seeing scenes from the movie is nothing more than a pleasure for the ears while still giving your eyes the candy it needs to keep things interesting....

absolutly a must buy for any Star Wars fan!
however a couple things i do find annoying...
Ian doing the introductions.... not only is he horrible at reading off a teleprompter... but couldnt they have gotten someone who knows about the music... like lets say.... John Williams??? maybe im just asking for too much here but it definatly would have been nice to hear what he had to say....

and 2 the dialogue during the music is a complete "no no" to me..... they made that DVD so we could listen to the music... and the dialogue at certain parts drowns out Williams wonderful score... although it is not too frequent... when it does happen it is annoying....

lastly all the OT footage is from the 2004 DVDs....
so we have pink and green lightsabers... and CGI as far as the eye can see...


other than that though.... a wonderful new way to listen and watch the Star Wars soundtracks!

I've got a Marantz reciever and let me tell you it was well worth the money!!!

however it was nowhere near the price range of the projector...
thats just insanity!

i also dont like the room personally.
too much flare and as Jay said many of the surfaces would reflect the light...
i've had to take down many frames in my basement when i watch movies sometimes... its just far too distracting!

well as Anakin's Mannequin just said...
he ranked TPM under ESB...
so basically he is saying it was better than ANH and ROTJ... hell and even AOTC for that reason...

i mean AOTC was a pretty bad movie and all but i only cringe during certain scenes... like the anakin riding a potatoe bug scene and all the romance crap that is completely rushed....
other than that i enjoy AOTC for its sheer action.... whereas TPM (although it had amazing action) is always ruined by something stupid... ie jar jar, two headed announcer etc

Solid Aluminum (milled and then polished), he's still charging $150 CAN for materials and labour (not sure what that is US, you yanks gotta figure that out ), he wont do anything about a blade for now (it is a future plan) but if its yours im sure you can experiment.... and finally i dont know lol

For those who were interested in the lightsaber's i was selling a while back, I figured i would post some pictures for those who are interested, had comments or questions or simply just wanted to drool over what i have displayed in my room (lol)

These are some pictures of the final product. Luke's ROTJ lightsaber (no it does not come with a blade and it does not make any sound effects. Simply a prop replica)

okay you must have missed the point...

im simply saying that those who didnt grow up with the movies since a young age cannot and does not have any say in what those who have grown up with them feel...

you said "Makes me glad I didn't see Star Wars (any of them) until I was fifteen." therefore you don't know how much this movie has meant to people who saw it at the age of lets say 7 or 8 and have supported it through and through...

those fans of us who have stuck by these movies over the years and have literally made it a part of our life cant help but feel a little abandoned by the person who made us love them

its like two loving parents raising a child and then getting a divorce one day and saying that their mother/father was never their type in the first place...
may not seem like the same thing to you but its just as much of a shock!

and if you dont agree thats fine... your entitled to your opinion....

people say that they're glad they never grew up with the original star wars because they feel that we're in need of some sort of councilling because of no original trilogy.

the fact is i wouldn't have had my childhood any other way than with star wars in it...

if the younger members had even had a chance to live the impact these movies had on our generation they would be singing a much different tune

The upcoming film "Silent Hill" is being filmed near me so i figured i would visit the set before they start shooting.

and i would love to share the photos with my fellow OTer's and to any other fans of the movie or game.

Almost every window display on the street is littered with props suitable for the business. Just one of many details that you will never see in the final movie)

A picture of the interior of another window display. This time it is for a fashion outlet that caters to children. (this is my favorite picture and really gave me chills when i saw what i captured. what do you think)

A picture of a boarded up Silent Hill Tavern. (FYI - there are many buildings that include the town's name "Silent Hill". Including the Silent Hill Gazette as well as Silent Hill Fresh Meats.
