With 20th century in Disney’s grasp, what are the odds of an OUT release?

I would bet on they’re also doing individual packages for each title. Collectors’ edition packaging (steelbooks, retailer exclusives) seems to be where it’s at right now in physical media.

Since TLJ and Solo are already out there in 4k, it might actually make more sense to only release the other eight movies individually for now. They could even make that the way you get the unaltered versions, say it’s a limited edition just like the GOUT. Then later on they could do a streamlined box set that’s just the final versions of I-IX, no OOT, no Rogue One or Solo.

Except that the SE isn’t the final version of the films but the rough cut that accidentally got released by a zombie creature that kidnapped and ate George Lucas. 😉.

What if the invasion of Naboo didn’t occur until the final act? What if the threat looming over the movie is that the home-world of one of our heroes will be destroyed?

Open with the escape from Naboo, go into Tatooine, go to Coruscant, and go back to Naboo.

It would be hard to explain why they are being attacked by droids and a fleet that hasn’t begun invasion yet.

Think of it like the unofficial war that resulted in the Panama cannal.

Even though I’m bumping my own thread I think this needs saying.
As the weeks get closer and closer to the merger finishing I feel that us OUT fans and protectors should be extra cautious about rumours and also should keep our ears to the grindstone for any comments from Disney. Ideally they will announce a restoration at about the end of December 2019 or Spring 2020 to coincide with the release of the BD of IX or as a precursor of it to generate good will. However I do think that at the next SW celebration we need to get one of our own to interview Kathy to get an actual answer on this. So with that we wait for what will come and for Harmy’s eventual release of 3.0.

Hmm, that’s true.

The entire escape from Naboo-return to Naboo was a giant waste of time. Anakin is the only important thing that happens, but he takes away from the film’s focus. It’s as if there are two films in one.

I think the best thing to do is start the movie on Tatooine as a one off adventure. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan have sent to find a young boy with unremarkable force talent. They find Anakin, mind trick him out of slavery and go on their way (no need for an extended pod race). What follows instead is a race against Maul, who wants to kidnap the boy for his own sinister purposes. Maul could be collecting force sensitive children for a phantom menace.

They return to Coruscant, and here we can have a big reveal of how mighty the Republic is (like the Empire’s Death Star reveal. See? It’s like poetry, it rhymes). The Jedi decide upon further review he is to old to be trained and want no part in him. But Qui-Gon, unlike the reserved Jedi, has positive emotion and won’t give Anakin up for Maul to take.

While this is happening, Palaptine informs the Jedi of the Naboo Crisis. Then 25 minutes or so in we head to Naboo and stay there for the rest of the movie, intercutting the opening and final battle to one. Would be hard to pull off, but that’s the best structure I can think of.

Just cut out bad dialogue and all Gungans and you have a winning edit.

Perfect snack: Hot Cheerios
Melt some butter in a pan on medium heat and spread it around then pour in the cheerios and stir them until they are golden brown finally sprinkle Lowery’s meat seasoning on them stir once more and pour into a bowl. I have been making this since I was a kid and I have loved it ever since. The perfect drink to have with it is Simply no pulp orange juice.

How is it odd? Warner, Disney and Lucasfilm don’t communicate constantly.
Lucasfilm must’ve gotten in touch with Disney/Warner that he had contacted them must’ve pulled some strings. He should be really grateful, and I’m glad he is actually thanking Lucasfilm for a change. Hopefully this will help stop people from lumping Disney and Lucasfilm together constantly, but who knows.

EDIT: The more and more I read YouTube comments the more I realize it is mostly literal children and I’m wasting my time thinking about this so much.

I have been watching waaaaay too much Young Justice.

That’s a fantastic read and very enlightening. Too bad this YouTuber has already deceived his audience, and I wonder if he will make a follow up video actually correcting himself. I doubt it, but who knows.

Hey bob Iger, home you like the site? SWT is far better than you.

It’s like his fans are brainwashed. Can’t even come up with an original insult.

I think Bob Iger has made mistakes with the franchise, like not giving the movies more production time, but at least I’m mature enough to not paint every person I disagree with as a cartoon villain because it makes the chaotic world easier to understand.

These YouTubers are manipulating you. Did you even read the article? But it isn’t like it would even change your mind, these YouTubers have you tied around their finger, taking every word they say as gospel. “Disney is pure evil and only THE TRUE FANS, like Theory and Thor, truly understand it and can save it. Just buy their cool gym wear merch to help support their noble crusade!”

Yeah I know having different opinions are so hard for you to grasp. Well guess you’re another person I can’t talk to. I wish people like you would stop throwing the brain-washed accusation around. At least I know you’re a child.
