I’ve heard of people wanting to add certain cgi elements to scene, but not necessarily doing them.

I think the majority of them needs replacing, every scene is like a cartoon.

Not sure if this is even possible but has anyone considered redoing the effects for the prequels as well editing them? Just curious.

Me too. It’ll be great to have the cherry-picked high quality 4K bits replacing sub-par 2.7 bits, for the best ANH version humanly possible outside of Disney.

Disney will never have as great of a quality as a fan restoration as we do this with love and tender care, while Disney would do it quickly so they could push out a profit.

Not sure where else to ask my question so here goes: I am working for a small theatre and I was wondering if it would be ok to tell them about the DEED after 3.0 comes out so they could do a free employee movie night or something. Not sure if this is an ok thing to consider.

Does this mean 3.0 is going to be released soon?

Not sure if this has been said before, but it seems to me that Marvel film posters are getting more psychedelic while DC posters are getting too over-saturated… Anyone else notice this?

At this point, us fans will be able to create those versions much better than the studios within the next 2-3 years.

For TNG they improved the light passes a bit, and I guess they corrected small model defects.

But it looks seamless and much better than 2000’s CGI.
For Star Wars it would look great and still have the 1977 feel.

It would still be an SE and not a theatrical release because the original effects are what make it theatrical.
