Oh NO! Say it isn't so... I was pretty excited back in 2003 when I heard there would be an AVP movie... up until the release of that lousy thing. Come on everybody... it was a very poor execution for an AVP film. And now... now we get AVP2! And if that isn't worse... the plot IS! Holy crap, have they lost their minds?
This really degrades both film creations into B-movie territory... this film really sounds like a direct-to-video.

While I wouldn't mind seeing a GOOD AVP movie... this makes me cringe... and cringe bad.

Just read it... read it! Right here! Oh no...

Anyone have any say on this?

wow... this skewed off-topic...

Anyway... what I was trying to say was that the "style" of the newer Star Wars games, comics, ect. feels like some show-offy modernish RPG "cool" thing...
and no where near the film's style... that's what I was trying to say... and it makes me feel like a bunch of "we're so cool" designers designing them, not knowing
the real "feel" of Star Wars.

Oh no! Not another LucasArts crappy matrix-meets-star wars video game!

I’m so annoyed by all this Expanded Universe stuff, while some of it is great, most of it is just
so un-star wars it feels like a bunch of Star Wars PT-fan doofuses making a “really cool Star Wars game”
with ninja-action jedi roaring and screaming over-the-top dramatically and using the force like in a final fantasy
game… Guys, it just makes me feel really really annoyed. I don’t like these people…

why can’t we make something
more swashbuckling and fun, like star wars… as opposed to matrix-style dramatics and shiggedy-shwab magic light flashes
by using the force that always happens in these games…?

I’d like to hear your insight to this ongoing fiasco, (I think it is).

Hi all... I'm in constant search for two certain logos in .eps format...

those two would be the "Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" and "Fellowship" Extended Edition logos (the ones seen on the cover of the EE DVDs)...
I would be extremeley happy if anyone had this sort of thing... thank you.

Brett Ratner? What? That's terrible!

If I were to do it, I'd keep the same actors (Ian Holm is I am afraid much too old... my first pick would be Martin Freeman... and get him to learn how to act as Ian as Bilbo as much as possible), keep it with the same visual universe as the films, not screw up and hollywoodify the story (just break down the hobbit storyline to a more fit-for-film version.. like eliminating Beorn but keeping him for the Extended Edition), and get as much of the crewmembers from it's precursor as possible.

Those things should be top-priority for any stupid director (out in hollyweird right now) who would try to do The Hobbit. Hell, just get me to do it!

and another thing... here's something I've been DYING to KILL OFF! The yellow glow on the scenes at Rivendell!
So far so good... especially this shot... although it shows a lot of grain like this... I'll try to fix it.

also, do not be fooled. It may look great on that small picture... but if shown in full screen... it gets quite ugly... so I'll have

I did a ROTK book-cut... and I found out that it's in terrible form. Some sloppy editing and some scenes that are off-sound and some shots that
are really ugly in terms of pixel-quality. I'll do it again... but if you really want it, I might go up and leave them at demonoid sometime.
