EDIT: and imperial scum happens to be the Offical even more ignorant bully of TFA fans.

Point me to some clear evidence of this. I have never bullied anyone for liking TFA. I simply express my opinion of TFA.

I actually agree. He may be condescending when expressing his feelings about it but that doesn’t count as bullying.

It still establishes a hostile environment.

Can’t deny that but it matters not. Doing his taxes is more important than having people actually want to debate with him.

FYI, here’s the original version of the podrace announcers:

That is literally scary. It looks like something out of a low budget ripoff of Star Wars.

TFA?

TFA didn’t have a low budget…Say what you will about other aspects of the film but a $200 million budget is in no way small. Stop it.

I’ve mentioned this before but it is the attention to detail for the aesthetic that I love the most. I had the opportunity at a New Years party to meet the guy who was hired to create all the starfields for the movie. He talked to me about how they wanted him to do it in a relatively short amount of time and he begged for more so he could have time to do it right. He painstakingly painted in every star trying to match the look of the starfields in SW. And that effort was not wasted because the first time I saw the movie I looked at the starfield in the opening crawl and my first thought was “it looks like a slightly more blue despecialized starfield.”

It’s that dedication and attention to detail that’s present throughout the movie that I love. I mean, this guy could have created a perfectly fine starfield in a couple minutes for each shot just using some tools in photoshop or after effects or something, but you can tell everyone involved in the movie has a deep love for Star Wars and wanted to do it right.

Sure, the story is a bit re-hashy and all, but I’d take that over a film made by people just phoning in their work any day.

Beautiful analysis DL. Have u checked out “Secrets of the Force Awakens” doc yet? It totally shows you even more the dedication and love put into the film.

for all the love and passion put into this film it’s such a shame the end product was so mediocre and forgettable!

Thank you for giving us your bi/tri-monthly dose of TFA hate. Now please do what you always do and fall off the face of the board so that we may revel your absence. Thank you.

Yes, that specifically is a joke but other than a remaster that hasn’t even came out yet (and can be changed) what bad remasters are there?

Off the top of my head…

Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition

Subpar sure, but not really bad.

GTA: San Andreas

Wasn’t that initially for tablets then converted to systems? It was bound to suck.

Silent Hill HD

Fair enough

Age of Empires II HD

This doesn’t look or sound that bad to me.

Yeah Rey’s motivations are a bit all over the place.

I disagree. I think it changes based on the circumstances such as Han and Chewie coming into the picture which made it impossible to have passage back to Jakku (for the time being) and the prospect that she is kicking it with Han Solo who she went total fangirl on when she learned who this man was. And it changes again when she is shaken up by her Force Vision and decides she wants no part in any of this. And after seeing something like that I think (at least for some people) that would be ample reason to switch motives.

Also I like Finn. He’s a pretty likable and compelling character.

I do too man. I can’t wait for them to flesh out his character even more and to have his bromance with Poe grow even stronger.

Return of the Jedi
A New Hope

I like ROTJ and all and I have my issues with SW but I disagree with this. ROTJ may have a couple of the best moments in the entire saga but it’s not as well written or consistent imo

I tend to stick to the originals no matter what type of music I listen to. So much can go wrong with remasters. but not with video games though. Video game remasters are always good.

This is a joke right?

Yes, that specifically is a joke but other than a remaster that hasn’t even came out yet (and can be changed) what bad remasters are there?

EDIT:

Can’t say that about the Twilight Princess Remaster, can’t say that about the Wind Waker remaster and you can’t say that about the Gears of War or The Last of Us Remaster either.
