I'm taking the liberty of typing your moves in a program that will give everybody else a visual element to this game. I for one have very little experience in the game, I just know how to move the pieces, and have no idea what these alphanumeric strings mean.

I've been testing it with a couple of tapes, in the meantime, and I think I found a little problem. Nothing major, but it's a bit disappointing.
In the rear panel, there's a switch near the AV1 scart: it has 3 positions,
Test outputs a patter for the Rf connection, and I'm not using that. The other two options are supposed to change the output in the scart connector. Normal should be composite, if I'm not mistaken, and it works correctly. When I set it to S-Video, however, all I get is luma.
There's another S-Video output, and I haven't tried it yet. Hopefully it works.

So, if I understand correctly, the sides are a lower resolution source? Well, I suppose some test frames are needed to sample the final result's quality. The idea is certainly intriguing, and one I'd love to see with many other movies.

At this small scale, there's so much individual variation (different species, different ages, differently-colored lightsabers, etc.) that it looks artificial, forced, and manufactured.
(Plus, the colors of the lightsabers don't contrast well with the sandy terrain, cheapening the "coolness" of the effect.)
Now I'm picturing George pitching his idea for AOTC of a Jedi in a wheelchair (or Star-Warsy surrogate) and his YesMen coming out of their wov of silence with a collective "Noooooo".
