2.  I will confess to not knowing what he did outside of the Off Topic Section.   Perhaps out side of Off Topic he was not a troll
3.  In Off Topic however he was a troll and did target me.  If necessary, I can post links as evidence.   Earlier he targeted Frink if I remember correctly.

IIRC it was because of multiple accounts, like he'd forget the password of his previous account and make another one, then another one, and the repeated offences finally got him a ban.

We've done a similar thing in the past with Gormally, but that was a demonic entity that possessed the account of the victim, so they posted as Gormally but you could still see who it was. Gormally just inhabited its victim for a while and then it was passed on.

I have an idea. Given what you guys have just said about the nature of the Ric Olié account, what if it was shared between people, say user #1 toys with it for a while, then he passes it on to user #2 when he gets bored, and so on. What would that accomplish, you say?

• We wouldn't have an exception to the "no socks" rule per se, in that no single user would be having a sock account, it would be a "shared" sock
• It could be fun if the handover occurred totally behind the scenes (i.e. by PM) and only two people at a time knew who Ric was, and the others would have to guess

Opinions? Thoughts?

I took it down at the end of last month, I'm not feeling too peachy, to tell the truth. I guess I'll choose one at the start of the new year.

Gosh, rereading it, I was even worse than I realized.  Again, I was deliberately acting out of character, especially since I thought Frink was on to me a bit.  I even ignored my darth_ender self (which is now permanent, since that self is banned).  I apologize, not only for the sock account, but for the bad example I was there.  I really am sorry.

 Don't be! It was entertaining! The swear words were very mild, most of that is stuff you can say on the radio, and more importantly, blowfish gave the forum "up your" and "friggin midgit devil teddy bear". I say good jerb.
