Such an underrated movie. It's a shame that Murphy didn't take more roles like this one, and left the fat suits in the closet.

Take the part where Plinkett says "the teaser doesn't show much. Just tell us what the movie is about!!!" and sighs with nostalgia "remember the old trailers?" and uses as an example the original teaser for Star Wars, which, like TFA's, tells us NOTHING about the movie!
And obviously the part at the end where he suddenly catches himself praising Star Wars for the same things he was poo-pooing a second earlier. That was on the nose.
At the end, how many of you caught the small, small message? I wonder if it's true or if it's more bait for the people who ask "more!" constantly.

I had to look it up, and it's minor, yes. It's a really quick shot of a rebel soldier, it's a slight zoom, not the exaggerated WHOOOSH that's in the trailer that goes from very far away to quite close to the action. It's a bit ridiculous.
I don't know who came up with the idea of using the "snap zoom" in all these big hollywood movies, but it looks stupid as hell.
It looks as though you have this really expensive movie, but some sequences were filmed by your dumb uncle with his Hi8 camcorder, and his finger constantly on the zoom button.
It's worse than shaky cam, which in itself has overstayed its welcome, way overused.
