Domo arigato.
Don't like my idea, at all?
I would love to see a thread where people from this forum do their best celebrity/character impressions. A showcase for vocal talents. A good chance to hear Frink's Frink, maybe?
stumbled across this, found it funny, had to share:
I used to have a US dollar bill, and 5 australian dollars. Both misteriously disappeared. There should be a penny around the house, though.
mmm... let me count.. in my case those would be about 4 nickels... no, definately more... around 8 or so... still not enough to buy chocolate!

Zombie Shakespeare?
no. the quote I wrote above the pic.
I just HAD to do a gif of it, since I found nothing on google:
Well, that whole episode is quotable. Another great moment comes right after this one with Willie.
Lisa: Dad, we did something very bad!
Homer: Did you wreck the car?
Bart: No!
Homer: Did you raise the dead?
Lisa: Yes!
Homer: But the car's okay?
Kids: Uh-huh.
Homer: All right then.
Gold. :D
here's a page I found with quotes from the episode in mp3 format, for your amusement. Includes Froggurt. http://www.lardlad.com/assets/quotes/season4/9F04.shtml
"There, pretty as a picture ... Ach! Zombies! ... There, pretty as a picture."
odd... I couldn't find a screenshot of one of the best moments in Simpsons history... I had to settle for this picture, which is not bad at all tho....
there are a few others on Youtube. Classic quotes in pure text form.
this one can be used as a reply to a post:

Indeedly doodly.
The bigger the headache, the bigger the pill, the bigger the doctor, the bigger the bill!
thanks, Bingo, now that song is stuck in my head for the rest of the week. again.
oh yesss Jack, come on, one more, yes I deserve it, gimme the bird!!
I found this and I just wanted to share it with everybody. I wonder how many of these kinda sites are there around?
Now, if only the buttons could be embed-able...
Saw the re-release of BTTF. It's one thing to see a movie in your own living room, it's another to see it in the theather. Even if you know it inside out, in english AND in italian, production details, trivia and whatnot...
This movie (and its sequels) never disappoints me, it's always a fun ride. I came out of the theatre with a smile on my face. Why can't we experience this kinda pleasure with the SW OT re-released in pristine quality???!!??
Just one little thing, though: digital projection. You really can tell the difference (or at least it could've been because I knew). It makes me miss film. It had this strange motion blur with vertical movement, I can't put my finger on it... Great colors and definition, though.
Oh, and here in Italy it was just a one day thing, only the 27th of October, instead of the 23rd and 25th as I heard of in the US. There were 3 shows at the local cinema, I went to the first one at 18:15. The place was almost empty, there must've been no more than 20-25 people including myself!
People were watching "Despicable Me" instead!!
My sympathies, Sluggo. At least you can say you knew him, right? I was 7 when my oldest grampa (he would've been 98 this year) passed away and I don't remember him at all. Only a passing memory of sitting on his knees. I have a lot of stuff he has written over the years, though, mostly poetry.
My other grampa was a man of few words, quiet. He lived to be 90, and always left me wondering, things like: "Who knows how many people he's seen in his life!..." He did share a few stories about the war with us, though.
for a microsecond I thought the forum had YT embed, yeah right, I can hear the staff now, "Heavens forbid!"
You almost got me. Well, time to save this gif and put it to good use on teh internetz... I know a place already that could use this beauty... *wicked smile*
I'm sorry I made Keanu have a sad. It won't happen again. :)
Is there, mmhey, is there a problem? mmh-Flayven!
