Star Wars coming to Blu Ray (UPDATE: August 30 2011, No! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!)
Time

gf, all this talk about "we shouldn't have loved it in the first place", isn't it a bit late for this? not to mention it's completely illogical to say it, you can't go back and change history, unless you personally know Doc E. L. Brown (if you do, please let me know)

and furthermore, you make it sound like it's the fan's fault, this way. and it's not, IMHO.

Your Weather Forecast - via Star Wars Planet -
Time

Snow, eh? You mean that white, fluffy substance you see in Christmas movies and weather reports?

But seriously lol, I actually had the opportunity to touch some snow only once in my life, when I went to mount Etna with my classmates. And even then it was, like 50-80 cms, but I was happy as a schoolgirl nevertheless.

Today the sky's a pukey shade of gray. Yuck.

Avatars
Time

Whatever I do, I can't get my avatar to show up with a transparent background on the forum. I tried saving it as gif, png8, png24, changing sizes, nothing helps. Yet I seem to remember that when I had my "blue lightsaber" avatar that showed up correctly. Am I doing something wrong?

Last movie seen
Time

A tv channel here just aired "Dracula dead and loving it". It's not exactly a "last movie seen" cause I only caught a few scenes, as I had to go out, but even with these scenes I don't see what's so bad about this movie. I mean, people always talk trash about this particular movie: I get it, if we compare it with Brooks' previous works, Young Frankenstein (lots of Wilder input in that one, I consider it more his movie as a matter of fact), Blazing Saddles, it won't stand a comparison. But actually, I saw some really nice photography, scenes, lots of matte paintings (something filmmakers today have forsaken) , nice special effects, nice music, and the few scenes I saw followed to a tee 1931's Dracula with Bela Lugosi, so it was a nice remainder, kinda like a tribute to the old classic. It makes me wanna see it in its entirety, but first I'm certainly gonna see "Airplane", as I only saw it once, and now that I can, imma see it in english!

The Wittertainment Cinema Code of Conduct!
Time

I agree with everything, except the eating part. I understand that it may cause noise, but come on, cinema and popcorn go hand in hand like... well like cinema and popcorn, if I go see a movie I wanna eat some popcorn!

Oh, and I would add, if they let us eat and drink, clean up your own mess! Because many times people just leave behind Colas, empty chips packets and whatnot.
