Lucas could regain some of his prestige by financing gutsy big budget movies...

Well I don't think he's a good director, he is clearly more preoccupied with the spectacle and grandiosity of action set pieces and special effects. This is clear in the PT, where 95% of dialogue and exposition is between characters sitting at tables or couches with a three camera over the shoulder setup. The action scenes are interesting visually but fail because we don't care about the people they're happening to, like he wanted to skip past the "boring" taking scenes to get to the visual effects bits. I don't think he knows what a good story is and how to tell it, he should give that job to writers and directors who know what they're doing. If he wants to keep running ILM, hey, that's cool.

Aren't most action scenes pretty pedestrian besides the Maul duel? Tsui Hark is like that with the story but the action is at leasttop notch.

Jus saying, his educational charity is a gamble, like almost everything dealing with education, his contributions to film school might not help new people with wild/interesting ideas break into the industry.

If not a s fillmaker, why not be remebered as an amazing patron of the arts and finance some high risk deep big budget movies? With his money he could basically do something just as big as the current Marvel U.

If new movies happen sooner i could easily see massive sith and Jedi armies, it just looks exciting.

It doesn't look exciting. It looks boring. It also destroys everything good about lightsabers. When it comes to lightsabers on screen at once, less is more.

Few lightsabers on screen at once = Star Wars, Many lightsabers on screen at once = glowstick rave

tht's like saying all martial arts fights should be between 2 people in movies. You gotta mix it up a little, it's not 1977.
I'm bored by lightsabers at this point. Back in the OT days they served the story. Now they're there to sell toys - the more the better. I'd be up for a Star Wars movie without lightsabers, honestly.
No sabers and no Jedi.
KotOR1 is a pretty bad game overall and in its best moments it's barely mediocre. It's the usual Bioware fare with horrible writing, abysmal quest design, poor story etc. The idea for the twist was pretty good, but the foundations for it just weren't there. KotOR2, on the other hand, despite all its technical shortcomings, and even despite the fact it wasn't finished, was great.
What? Bioware is known for being bad at storyteling?
