Your thread title fails to express that.
So what? Leia on the big screen crossed my mind for the first time. so little do i care about the next trilogy opposed to the spinoffs.

If they republish the originals, that would make up for it a tad. (If only they could include the original ads and letters page.) It's still shabby treatment of the book that arguably turned Marvel's fortunes around in the 70's. They sold a ton of the movie adaptation, and it was reprinted so many times, I've lost count.
It's a safe bet Thomas and Chaykin don't benefit from this financially?
Weren't Chaykin and co trying to do something else so they sabotaged Star Wars, that's why ended up with so much delightful goofy nonsense?

Especially her doing her diplomat thing without Han and Luke. That aspect always fascinated me.
From all of the Episode 7 spoilers (whether they are true or false), there hasn't been anything on Princess Leia. No pictures, not even one tidbit as I am starting to wonder if she has the smallest role of the big 3.
I know she was on Craig Ferguson last week, and was funny as she usually is. She said it was suprisingly easy to get back into character after 30 years. And then she said they misused her character in Episode 7, paused, and then said she was joking after the crowd seemed displeased. But I wonder if she really was joking? And she just has a bit part?
With all due my respect i have 0 interest in seeing Leia on the big screen again. I was talking books and comics.
Leia did go on a diplomatic mission in it.

As for being a senator and having "soft skills," I think you overestimate the skill overlap, and make assumptions about the skills late Imperial Senators actually had. Leia's only apparent qualification to sit in the Senate is her royal station. Given the rather swift dissolution of the Senate, it seems none of the other senators brought anything especially vital to the Empire, either. Even if there is a significant overlap of skills, having the skills to be a diplomat does not make one a diplomat.
Who out of the Big 3 will do diplomacy? The naive farmboy, the blue collar Han or Leia when it's necessary? Discovering new cells, involving different rebel groups and managing their relationships is very important for the Rebeelion.
She was also a senator so that means she had a lot of soft skills diplomats have.

Not really. Especially after seeing Padme to do it in the PT.
Lucas will not be involved...

Does SW require different style of art? I was always happy with, isn't that the recent DH style?

that bottom saber
That cover is actually cool. Too bad i don't feel like could actually read SW these days. It would feel depressing.
Capes are cooler when they are not attached to superheroes.

I like how the gays are overrunning their boards.
Um, what?
Kingpin was amazing, too bad they cancelled it.
Not really making progress here:

We have slurs for subgroups within fandoms it's a natural tribal thing.

Fun fact, my Grandpa fought in Europe, mostly Italy, during the War.
He once told me that you could tell where a man fought by what racial slurs they used. He didn't know that 'Nip' was a racial slur until the 1970s, because men in the European theater of war used 'Jap,' and when he'd heard 'Nip' he'd assumed it was a normal term, like 'Brit.'
Funny how in TCW, clone troopers often call battle droids, "clankers" but apparently never utter slang terms for any of their flesh and blood opponents. ;)
Thye should, slurs give taste to a language. Alsoe slurs are never the problem, denying people rights and so on are.
Snobby intelectuals are pretty fed up with capes...
Ultimate Avengers, 2, fun enough, Panther deserved a better costume.

With Star Wars having a desert planet in Tatooine, and spice smuggling, that might be one step too far to avoid a letter from lawyers representing the Frank Herbert estate. ;)
If they managed to dodge it so far...

Yeah, he should finance Green Lantern 2.
He should finance a season 2 of the animated series.
Just based on that? No.
I think all racial slurs and ''slurs'' should be defined only by working class people, upper middle class and intectual people overcomplicate everything.

How everything was linked to ancient aliens, from hyperdrives to black hole clusters to planetary biomes.
Agreed, but the Rakata and the Voss are still dope.

There was nothing about Khan that tied him to India on the screen in the old continuity.
…you mean aside from the fact that he was a Sikh named “Khan Noonien Singh?”
I don't recal Khan sharing any indian culture with anyone.
