Help Wanted: SW videogames cutscenes (esp. Rogue Squadron series)

LOL! Rebel Assault 2 is pretty much ONE big cut-scene...
I have this game, and yes, all the characters are real people, the background an all the other stuff is CGI. For a fan, it's a nice game (for the story, the adventure, and especially the scenes). For a gamer, it's not very interesting. In fact, the game is basically an "interactive movie" with some arcade scenes...
The only trouble is that the game become old, and the cutscenes have a pretty bad quality (low-res video and old-digitalized sounds).

To digitise the SW Games Cutscenes, I think it will be a long project (just talking for myself), but it could be great!!
I don't have the cam for now, and my HD is ready to explode!

Concerning my project, here is a list of SW games cutscenes:

PSX Games
- Masters of Teras Kasi
- The Phantom Menace
- Jedi Power Battles
- Demolition

PS2 Games
- Starfighter
- Jedi Starfighter
- The Clone Wars
- Bounty Hunter (rendered cutscenes by ILM / Sound provided by Skywalker Sound)
and maybe some replays from "Super Bombad Racing" and "Racer Revenge"....could be fun.

GC Games
- Rogue Squadron 2: Rogue Leader
- Rogue Squadron 3: Rebel Strike

So....when will it be done?....I really don't know....but I WANT to do it!

Help Wanted: SW videogames cutscenes (esp. Rogue Squadron series)
Time
Hi!
I was just thinking of doing "SW Games Cutscenes" DVDs (PSX, PS2 and GC games for the begining)!

For doing that, I think I will borrow my father's cam which has a video line-in, transfert it to my HD,...
It's the only way I've found for me, now...
I think such a DVD could be very cool!

For PC games, I was thinking of doing a KOTOR Cutscenes DVD. I have the game on Mac, and all the cutscenes are in .mov format, in a "movies" folder, so, it will not be too hard, I think...

Idea: The Getaway (PS2 Game) - The live footage
Time

Hi there! I’m surely off-topic, but it’s “preservation” anyway…

I’ve played “The Getaway” the last year (and I’m playing “Black Monday” now).
I know that all the cut-scenes in the games were, at the begining, made “live” (with real actors), but this footage has never been shown in the game. I’ve only seen samples in trailers, and I was wondering if anyone has found or can have this “movie”.
I think it could be very interesting…

If you want to see what I’m talking about, go to the official US site:
http://www.us.playstation.com/games/SCUS-97133/
On the main page, click on the main character (Mark Hammond) and let the video begin. You’ll see scenes from the game, and some “live” scenes…
For “Charlie Jolson” character, click on “Making the Man”, and you’ll see a short making of.

So, I think this request seems quite hard, but…we never know.

Oh, I'm happy to hear that! I'm also interested in the Droids animated series.
BTW I've downloaded a single DVD of the Droids series, on myspleen -> that version isn't complete?

I've just seen I've forgot talking about music in my original post....oops, sorry. In fact, you have to read "Hi! I'm making some rips of Star Wars videogames SOUNDTRACKS,..."...
And I'm talking of soundtracks that have never been released on CDs, of course. For now, it's just for a personal use. I was looking for hi-res pictures just to make CD covers, that's all...

About cdcovers.cc, thanks gundrosen but I've already look there, and the pics are hi-res scan, that's for sure, but....it's scans, and it look like scans...But thanks!

HI-Res Poster Art
Time
Hi! I'm making some rips of Star Wars videogames soundtracks, and now, for the covers, I'm looking for Hi-Res pictures or covers of the following Star Wars games:
- Star Wars: Super Bombad Racing
- Star Wars: Pit Droids
- Star Wars: Bounty Hunter
- Star Wars: Demolition
- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II
- Super Star Wars Series (SNES)
So, if you know where I can find some hi-res, and hi-quality if possible, pictures or covers, well.....it would be cool

By the way, is there any Star Wars music (not the commercial ones, of course) preservation project here?

Anyway, thanks.

DVD: Return of the Ewok and Other Little Films (Released)
Time
Hi there ! (I'm new...)

I was just wondering if any torrent exists now for "Return of the Ewok" DVD?
Cause I'd be very interested to see that. For now, I've just seen the "sample" available at Hyperspace.
A torrent would be cool, cause regular mail could be espansive for me (I'm in France)...

I have just one more question: When a DVD is finished here, where are you uploading it? I know myspeen (I've downloaded some great Star Wars stuff there!), but is there any other place? Cause I see DVD releases on some threads I just don't see on myspleen...
So: How does this all work ?

The Official babyhum Release Thread
Time
Hi there, baby hum!
I'm new here, but I've already downloaded some of your excellent work on myspleen.
First, I want to thank you very very very much ! I've downloaded bh001, bh002 and bh007. You are a GOD for every Star Wars fan ! At last, you are MY god !
You know, I'm french, and all the stuff you give us has never been seen in France. I'm very happy to can see that now

I have some questions: I've read here you announce regularly when you have finished a bh00x DVD, but where are you uploading them first ? MySpleen or somewhere else?
My second question: I'm french , I understand quite well english, but not perfectly... I was just wondering if it could be possible to integrate some captions (or subtitles...I don't know the right term in english). English subtitles would be nice, no need to do french subs. In fact, I understand a lot more the written english than the spoken... Anyway, I'm just asking you that if some other people would be interested (I don't want you to have more work just for me...), and, of course, if it don't give you too much more work...

I'm not sure to have understood well the last messages: About the menus troubles, you will release (and rerelease) the long bh00x list, or not? Cause I'd appreciate a lot to have your Star Wars DVD collection. In fact, it's greatly better than the poor Bonus DVD of the Trilogy DVD from Lucasfilm ("Empire of Dreams" is great, but more bonuses would be not too much...)...

Anyway: THANKS A LOT !!!!

PS: I'm a Mac user, and I don't have any troubles with bh007 menus....just for info...
