Thanks a lot for your interest, and all your nice words...

So, the Jedi Knight DVD is really near to be finished! If you want to know, all I have to do now is:
- Opening logos and disclaimer editing
- DVD-ROM Content description
- DVD Credits
- Test, test, and finally... test!

I take the risk to tell you that it will be finished in few days.
At this time, I don't really know how I'll distribute it, but I'll see that when it will be finished. I think I'll create a new thread, dedicated to my releases, so, only for the finished projects.

what made Jango so special?
Time
Well, I must say that I've always be a big fan of Boba Fett, especially for his design and his darkness.
When I've heard that Jango Fett, his father, would be in Episode II, I didn't really know what to think about it. And I've seen the movie.
At this point, I was glad to see Jango fighting, cause it's that all Boba fans have always been waiting to see. So, in a way, I'm very happy, cause Jango character is really really cool and doesn't have to be ashame beside Boba.
And in another way, I was disappointed to know THAT much about Boba's past. And just the fact to see his face (in fact Jango's face, but you know what I mean...) destroy the enigmatic side and the mysterious of Boba we all loved...

Concerning the infos available only in the game and comics, I'm not sure to be agree with you. I've always loved the fact that all the infos aren't in the movies, and that we have to search for answers somewhere else. After all, when we think at all the known characters, vehicles, creatures, aliens,... which the names has never been mentioned in the movies, but every fan knows their name... I find that pretty cool!

Jedi Knight DVD is almost done, and Bounty Hunter will be my second project.
I've just received Bounty Hunter cutscenes from Galactus, and I must say that the quality is awesome! The results will be more impressive that Jedi Knight, due to the source quality of the cutscenes.

what made Jango so special?
Time
In Bounty Hunter, Darth Sidious ask Dooku to find the ultimate warrior of the galaxy, and in the same time, a cult named "Bando Gora" lead by a dark jedi, is becoming too big and too influent on the galaxy, and probably could make troubles for Sidious' plans.
So, Dooku decides that these 2 tasks could be done in once, and hires two of the best mercenaries of the galaxy to exterminate this cult, but without mentioning the cloning plans. These two warriors are both ex-mandalorians, and are hard rivals. But each one of them don't know that their rival has been hired too. The winner will be the choosen one to be cloned.
Note: the mandalorians have been the best warriors of the galaxy, and fought the jedi. Even if they have lose, they have shown a great strengh. Just on that point, we can easily understand why an ex-mandalorian has been choosed for cloning, no?
So, after a lot of missions and hard work, Jango, with the help of Zam Wesell (encountered in one of the missions), finally find the Bando Gora on a Bogden moon (the planet mentioned by Jango in AOTC, when talking to Obi-Wan about Tyranus), kills his ex-mandalorian rival (Montross), and exterminate the dark jedi. Just for that last point, we can understand why Dooku choose him. At this point of the game (the end), Dooku hires him.

Some infos:
- The game takes place pretty much in the same time of TPM.
- At the begining of the game, we learn that Jango becomes tired about his work, and wants to retreat. The Dooku mission would be his last mission. Thinking really about having some kind of "heir" or apprentice, the cloning reveals to be a good solution for Jango, avoiding him to really have a family.

If you want to know more about the early years of Jango, when he was part of the mandalorian warriors, read the excellent comics "Jango Fett - Open Seasons". The story is really good and explain the rivality between Jango and Montross. The only trouble is that the end (Dooku hiring Jango for cloning, and Jango demanding an unaltered clone for himself) is slightly different of the game's ending.

So, I hope that all this was clear and understandable (sorry for my english!), and sorry for the late response.

CG lightsabers as a lightsource
Time
There are some reflects on "real" characters in AOTC, when Anakin fights vs Dooku. But those reflects exist just cause for those plans, they used some kind of big light tubes instead of false lightsabers...
But I understand what you're talking about. When I first saw the reflects on Yoda, I've found that cool and realistic, but very different from all we saw before. It don't really annoying me anyway.

Great. The sooner it's finished the better .

I have now ripped the video files too. Is it correct that there are only eight video files on the cd? (01-02A, 03-04A, 06A, 08-10A, 12A, 16A, 18-19A, 21A.SMK) What about 05, 07, 11, 13-15, 17 and 20? And the dark side ending? Where do I get those?

Jedi Knight has 2 CDs...

What games are you including?

For that DVD, only Jedi Knight.
I'm planning to make same DVDs for Rebel Assault II, Bounty Hunter, Knights of the Old Republic,... in fact all the SW games which have cutscenes.

**URGENT - NEED HELP PLEASE!**
The Jedi Knight DVD is almost done, but I need some schematics of the Moldy Crow (Kyle's ship). I've read on a site that that ship is in "The New Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels".
If anybody has this book, please send me scans of the article (the 2 pages, infos ans schematics)! It's really important, cause I'd really like to finish that DVD, and for now, I'm stuck just because of that...

The article seems to be in this book:

Thanks!

*URGENT!* Anyone has the "New Essential Guide to Vehicles"?
Time
Hi!

For my "Jedi Knight Cutscenes" project, I need infos about the "Moldy Crow" (Kyle Katarn's Ship), and it seems that the Moldy Crow is listed in "The New Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels" (I only have the previous one). If yes, can anyone send me scans of the Crow article (text-infos and schematics)? My DVD is almost done, and I really need this.

If you know any other places (books, magazines articles, website,...) where I can find infos and schematics about the "Moldy Crow", please contact me! (PM or yaddle(at)free(dot)fr )

Thanks!

PS: if you have infos about any other Jedi Knights vehicles and vessels (Jerec's Destroyer, Cargo Ship,...), I'm also interested.

Having the game installed currently. I've checked and that's exactly what the game looks like. It's good that you can now get scressnshots in-game and also of the menus and such.

Yeah, I think the bigger difference between the minimum config and the normal (or high) is the screen resolution.
