Well, I've "attempted" my hand at editing and well....please don't laught at me. All I have is Windows Movie maker, I don't really do editing, and I don't have ROTS, so I took some clips from youtube. As such theres a watermark the size of a small moon, but it will go away. Its the dooku duel from ROTS, and had this idea for awhile, but, it did not come out the way I wanted, so if some else would like to try it, go ahead. Anyways, I wanted to make dooku seem stronger, and this feel like a test for anakin, but the duel was to short. I read the Novel adaption by Mathew Stover, and if the movie was anything like that it would be better. Alot of stuff I wanted to do, I am incapable. Read first!

:I cut(very small) Obi and Anakin walking towards the steps, for me, it increases the tenstion.

:Cut dooku jumping like he's at the olympics. In the book, he gracfully glides down.

:Added dookus "just because there are two of you......" line from the video game. And the video quality goes down here from changing sourses, and is slightly(very slightly) out of sync. I also almost flipped the shot here, maybe some else could do it.

:Cut into the space battle to make the duel feel longer and to incease tenstion. I could not make the transition as smooth as I wanted because of audio(need lightsaber clash sound)

:cut back as obi one is forced pushed, and got rid of the droid yelling and palp's "yeah"

:Tried to make it look like anakins kick agaist dooku was surprising, not very smooth though. Maybe we can palp's "yeah" back in here.

Maybe we could have anakins saber crossed with dookus ala ROTJ, there was a sene like that but it was cut.

Ive been watching some today; got thru 1 and half hours and its pretty good, well the quality isnt ;] I liked the prolouge, and the edit as a whole is good, some times the music choice is iffy, like R2 and the jawas, and some times the music drowns out the voices a little, the prolouge and obi ones hut. I kinda wished the AOTC bit was edited down a little ("ani's" winnieness is killing me lol) and some times its a little hard to follow. But minus all that, I do like it and great job, full review once I finish it.

hpmmm, I was kinda geting used to the voice. I would too like to see it as I have follwed it since the very begining, thought I did'nt sign up for some unknown reason.

Some how I din't see your message up there trooperman *facepalm* Anyways, we would love to see, or at least I would, a small portion of the beggining as you said. It's sad that Paul has to drop out, and I'm wondering how could finish it, I would if I could, but I cant lol.

Hopefully this all gets all worked out, but I will still wait.

I would have uploaded this to YouTube but this time I also applied a sharpening filter (with moderate settings, I hope), since it was bugging me to see that the whole movie was just blurry for no reason. It's a 2500kbps MP4, that way you'll be able to notice the sharpening and the details.

 Wow, ya its alot sharper, good job. Some things look a little to undersaturated but it looks way better.

I still have the nightclub scene in very low res with the audio track we were working on at the time. I don't think that anyone apart from Trooperman and myself have ever seen this. It was still a work in progress and the audio was still rough

Actually, I'll just go ahead and say it, it sounds worse.

As far as the recut itself goes, it's very well done. But I'm not sure if the mood the new music creates fits with the actual plot.

Listen to the original, watch the orginal, then tell me lol. Have you read this thread, it will fit with THIS plot. And the audio/voice over is still being worked on. Im uploading some clips I still have to rapidshare, see if anyone whats to take a crack at color correction.
