so they should write and produce 20 episodes and then only screen the better 13 of them?

I hate how they show what's coming up at the end of the opening, i usually close my eyes or look away for those few seconds. Generally you forget about it shortly afterwards, But I just prefer not to see that 'preview' at all.

I guess shorter seasons would be ideal tho, with reasonable gaps between - less than 8 months imo.

Okay i've finally watched this. I like what you managed to achieve. It's not awesome but it's pretty interesting. The only thing I really didn't like was the over use of the same handful of Starship Trooper shots, It gets a little distracting.

I'll probably pass this on to friends and see what they think.

You are not alone, I too enjoy the movie. I think I'd rather see Mabrothrax try something completely wacked out rather than a few minor tweaks here and there. So that might make things interesting indeed.

I found the avp-r soundtrack a bit gimmicky actually. shame.

^ Perlman's character wasn't badass, he was just an ass hole.

okay one thing I think AVP does have over A:R is the music. Would you be making any/ many alterations to the soundtrack?

I've just been listening to the AVP soundtrack and forgotten how good it actually sounds.

I think he means the glow of the blaster lasers that fire across the screen, During the clone wars the rifles fired blue rather than red/orange.

I'm a bit worried that since they are sure it's the last season they are doing things plotwise they wouldn't otherwise. Things that would have cosequences later.

The storyline IS becoming increasingly depressing.

Yes A:R does fall a bit short but i fail to see how you prefer the AVP films over this. I actually like that each of the movies are different, Every time round Ripley is a stranger in a strange land, but there is one constant - the Aliens.

Overtall it sounds interesting although I think I need to make this clear - the movie you see on the screens is NOT what Joss Whedon wrote.

Wow, people are dropping like flies - it almost feels like Battlestar galactica;)

I was pretty happy with this episode. it managed to keep things interesting, something that most of season four hasn't managed to do so far.

well the area around the belly distorts as well - the buidlings curve / warp slightly.

The idea of anakin spending more time on Mustafar before Padme arrives is a great one, Sounds fairly complex but something along these lines would make things a bit more interesting I think.

Remember that Palps sent the separatists to mustafar so whatever transpires there would be according to his bidding, even if Ani were to find something left for him....

I wouldn't know, I only just started listening. He seems to get easily distracted and just start talking about random unrelated things.

Re: simon - I guess they just keep him/them around for fodder then.

Do the 7 really have specific roles? I mean we do see them maquerading as Doctors, engineers, clergymen etc... But on their own turf they all just sit around talking all day.
The raiders and centurions have specific roles, but what of the skin jobs? If they serve no vital purpose then wouldn't that render them obsolete?

what this guy did is pretty simple but it still would have taken a while.

In terms of story i prefer blue, But in red it does look better and makes the fight easier to follow. I have no idea why they thought just doing the fighting really fast would make it more interesting.

actually i sppose he should have red since he HAS already been knighted as a sith.

Ash, We've seen plenty of Simon...

I wouldn't assume at this point that the unknown Cylon is the number 7 or somehow special. the final Cylon could be almost anyonebut then since this is television it will probably be the most shocking revelation, So probably someone we expect the least.

I'm kinda hoping they [6's et al] manage to revive the 3's.

I'd say they must have just had to roll with sharon = 8 since that was established early. it just seems odd, especially since they are [for whatever reason] not meant to think about the other 5.

I wonder how thngs would have played out differently if Cally hadn't killed "Boomer".

the number 6 model has also gone by several other names so far.

Yeah I kinda liked the character too but I've gotten used to that sort of thing - they killed of Kat right when i started to like her. Just a little worried too because there aren't that many episodes left.

I could tell she was going to come to a bad end, She was becoming a threat to the Cylons. The question is, what will happen if / when Tyrol finds out what Foster did.

Also been thinking about the final Cylon, I'm sure there are probably a lot of clues I've missed but there are two main things I've been thinking about.

Leoben once said 'Adama is a Cylon' - but if that were the case then he couldn't possibly know about it, so we can probably strike that comment...

The other is that if the final Cylon were someone in the colonial fleet then they'd surely have heard the music too [watchtower] so It's safe to assume that it's not anyone else on Galactica. And I think it's also safe to assume that if it were anyone presently in the fleet they'd be acting odd right about now....

Not trying to narrow it down just yet, just mulling things over.

btw guys, I don't mean to be a dick but it's Cally not Kali. I just see one person make a typo and others run with it. ;)

Oh yeah - does anyone else find it odd that in the main group of cylons there are 7 distinct models yet one of those is referred to as 'number 8' [Sharon] ?
