Beat the campaign on nornal - will have a nice break then start on Legendary.

Just thought I'd chime in that there IS something after the end credits. So be sure to stick around. - Although I think the ending is the same for all skill settings.

The new weapons are pretty sweet. I like how each gun has a Covenant version now. I love the DMR, my wife likes the Covenant one.

I love both of these - I always try to make sure I have at least one of them on me.

Lag was pretty bad playing with one of our friends

I find this interesting bcause for me it ran pretty smooth whereas halo 3 was an unbearable lag-fest.

Now I've got sketchy plans to rebuild the halo 1 map "Prisoner" - not sure if anyone's tacled that one yet.

I like how forge even lets you set up cameras for the views during loadout menus - lots of cool little touches.

Well after delving in a bit I can say - it doesn't feel like Halo 3 again, which is probably a fear wa all had.

I can't make up other peoples minds for them but I can say I'm pretty satisfied so far. I've sampled a few of the different areas and theres a good amount of content on offer.

A lot of things they took out are now back, I had to remember how to face off against elites again after the bothersome charging brutes of Halo 3.

I'm just running through on NORMAL atm and it feels challenging enough, I've died a handful of times. There hasn't been anything i've disliked and I don't miss the lack of things like duel wielding.

In the end - it's a sandbox kinda game, so it depends in part if you enjoy playing that way.

with new stuff and all of the things you liked remixed to be even better.

At present it feels something like

3 parts something new [new weapons, new enemies, new music etc...]

2 parts halo 1 [epic scenery, the general feel in part. ]

1 part halo 2 [classic fun weapons like lock on rocket launchers]

1 part odst [various features ie: night vision]

0 parts halo 3 [ie: none of the disappointments it brough]

- i'm only two missions deep thus far...

All I can suggest is - try it, see if you like it. Me - I'm having a great time.

Grabbed Reach at midnight [7 hours ago] but haven't had a chance for a proper sticky beak yet. Mine is still wrapped in plastic but we did unbox a friends copy and have a quick poke around the armoury and forgeworld.

All i've done at this point is fly around in the Falcon - which itself was a lot of fun. Can't wait to jump in as soon as i've got some free time after work.

I'm glad I went and got it at midnight, Now it's here waiting for me and I don't have to muck about during the day.

It certainly does seem to have a classic / 'greatest hits' flavour to it - at least so far...

I'm in the keep Dooku out of the Sith fanclub.

It makes for a much more interesting story if he never joins the Sith and while his methods and allies may be questionable he is actually more on the ball than the Council.

It turns him into a tragic prophet of doom instead of yet another disposable villain.

hell yes. What he always SHOULD have been. People seem to think that just giving him a Blue lightsaber can fix this...But it's still something that puts me off.

Yeah, I noticed that. Just renewed last month. I always manage to get mine for about $35, so I am not too worried about it. If I am still playing Xbox a year from now, I have now doubt I will still be able to get it for under $50 despite its going up to $60.

You guys don't realise how good you have it [in comparison.] - Here in Aus, were are paying closer to $75 / $80 [usd] already.

Fortunately the price increase will NOT be happening over here, but you guys will probably still be paying less than us so chin up.

James Cameron uses DVNR on Aliens Blu Ray transfer.

I never realized the Star Trek blu rays got botched.    I don't have any of the star trek  movies on blu ray yet.

I only have star trek 6 [of the first 10] but I can tell you the amount DVNR is insane - everyone's faces appear rubbery.

They also present the film in a wider format - but all they did was crop it height wise so you're actually getting LESS picture than on DVD.

on top of that, It's the theatrical version - which, In my personal opinion is inferior. In the director's cut we have a better idea of who people are and what is going on. I wouldn't have minded if they'd included both versions.

Pretty lousy treatment of a great movie. I'm almost afraid to buy the others now.

the mega-corporation who cried wolf?

Hopefully there's at least a handful of clips like this, I don't think it has a place in the finished film but it's cool to see - whether authentic or recently assembled..

Re: the OOT on BD - it wont happen because George doesn't want it to happen. it's that simple.

I'll get the BD's though if there's a good amount of [new] documentary and BTS footage - I'm more interested in that side of things than the actual films.

I haven't even looked at BS 2 and they've already anounced the next one [Bishock Infinite]. Might wait and get it cheap. I got orange box cheap so I'll keep my eyes open for any other bargains around.

Right now i'm just replaying and finishing off other games while I wait for Reach.

I might try to finish wet but it's just so....so....horrible. In all honesty I only got it [cheap]for the lols. And in that regard it's been fun. It's just a shame that the gameplay sucks so badly.

I've also [sadly] lost interest in Batman: AA, The last thing I remember is a bunch of vines sprung up all over one of the courtyards. I should probably try to get back into it.

Did anyone else get in on the Reach Beta? lots of fun but it's spoilt me now, I go back to Halo 3 and think it looks crap [in comparison]

Gonna get together with the lads today and try polish off ODST on legendary [i think i only have 1 misson left].

I actually feel kind of excited about New Vegas and despite my difficulty in getting into single player games as of late, I kind of want to get it when it comes out, but at the same time, when I think of all the hours I spent playing the first game I am not so sure I really want to make that kind of commitment to a game again.

Same, it actually took me a while to condition myself to stop drinking irradiated cola ;)

FAQ About Time Travel rather fun low budget Sci-Fi (sorry SF!) comedy.

Would have made a great television comedy show, it reminded me a bit of the now virtually unheard of television show Kinvig.

Well worth a watch if you want a few laughs.

Saw that a little while ago - and I agree.
