My bad, it's a DVD9 release ... I'm still not transcoding it for anyone. It will be uploaded as is.

If someone could PM a link to me, I would greatly appreciate it. This is my favorite cut of one of my favorite movies, and would love having a widescreen version.
I'm sorry, it doesn't work that way here.
Oh, really? And why is that?
This isn't the invite thread for said place, that is why.
I have the disc ripped. I am awaiting my neighbors answer who happens to be a member of said place that sounds like "why sheen". Members here will be the first to know.
As for the iTunes playable request, it won't be coming from me as I'm uploading the DVD5 release by FanFiltration. You can always down load that and do the transcoding at home. I just don't believe in watering down a fine ass project such as this. I hope no one takes this to offense.
Cheers
With regards to the SE Trilogy project ......
I would LOVE Letterboxed 720p. I can live with out the anamorphic part. What you are doing with the SE Trilogy is always what I wanted to see for it. Something FAR better than the SE Trilogy DVD 5 Star Collection in quality across the board.
FrankT also made me some basic bluray artwork based on the SE Trilogy Platinum VHS Box Set.
Maybe once you get everything sorted and locked in I could ask him to add the video/audio specs you're going with along with proper credits for those who helped make this all possible.
:)
This project is not yet finished.
First and foremost, I came under hard times. Next, I couldn't find anyone willing to help with menus and such. I still have all the files I need to finish. It has taken longer than I've wanted it to even but circumstance weigh-laid an earlier completion date.
Keep an eye on this thread. Members here will be the first to know.

^^^^^^ Very nice looking cover art.
:)
Any update on this?
Any updates on this project sir?
Hey all,
I have Godzilla Vs. Monster Zero and Godzilla Vs. King Kong but the only audio there is is Japanese and Russian. Are there English dubs for either of these? The King Kong one says it’s English but when you play it it’s Japanese.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I give up. You guys keep making your nonsensical posts, I'm gonna go watch Harmy's work again.
Oddly enough my friend you forget to mention your own well known penchant for non-topic related posts ...... just having some fun with you.

I am speechless, really.
The more you let Frink ruffle your panties the more he'll try to work you. It's his way of showing he cares.

All my covers and all of my scans died with my hard drive months ago. So, unless somebody has copies, everything is gone.
I have your 1992 set but I'll have to check and see if I have others.

There are other pics of cover art at this link.
I tend not to let others sway my opinion of what I like. I am certainly excited about what we could see. It's Disney and JJ, two power houses, no matter which way you lean.
The SE Trilogy is what it is for the time it was created and the anniversary factor of it's release, not to mention that it was GL's playground for future technology with regards to film making.
I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Okay, well, whatever happened there is bizarre. I don't think that's happened in this thread though. This thread has roughly 100 followers, which isn't unusual for this section of the forum.
Frink used his jedi mind powers to trick the thread into viewing itself so many times that it got addicted to itself. It then became obsessed with Frink.

I love Harmy's work, but my go-to release of the trilogy is the JSC.
I second this sentiment. I love my JSC set and wouldn't trade it for anything.

We're still working on the 3rd print scan. However Harmy should be getting some previews to get an idea of what scenes will look like. After that we should be making some progress.

For ANH '97, I have a chance to use a film print.
This would be MOST cool.
Like I said, I was just saying. I got that impression from reading the posts. If that's not how you meant it, then all is well. I'm sure you've noticed that we get a lot of people who come and go here just looking to snag Harmy's work and what not and then they seem to expect instant gratification. I've been here awhile and I know exactly what joy patience brings.
I'm certainly glad you got the hook up and are willing to share it with others. The more folks that can find such things are usually happier to stick around and maybe share other things people are looking for.
A win - win all the way around.

If you need proof, let me know, I have it on my UPC DVR. ;)
Beginning with the night before the race all the way to the end.
Unfortunately there is no way to get it off the DVR's HD without breaking the warranty seal (it's a rental only deal) and everything on it is encoded in HDCP.
I would certainly like to find a way for you to be able to extract this without losing the warranty. It would certainly be helpful.

Hi everyone... :)
A friend of mine owns a VHS set of the original trilogy released in 2000 with the cover designs made to match the prequels and I have episodes I and II.
My friend has said I can have his OT set if I want it. I'm just wondering, if I added episode III on VHS to the collection, the whole saga on tape would be valuable as a collectors item and, if so, how valuable?
I've never seen the whole saga for sale anywhere like eBay. Does anyone know if that's because they're super rare (and valuable) or that there's no demand at all for them?
Any info would be most helpful. :)
May the force be with you all...
Anything is only as valuable as one is willing to pay to have it. You "might" get a little extra for the last one but not much. Most of the Star Wars VHS tapes can be had for fairly cheap really. An unopened original trilogy or special edition trilogy might do a small bit better but VHS just isn't on the top of most Star Wars fans list as they probably already have them in triplicate.
I wish I had better news for you. I'd hold on to them instead of selling. One never knows how things might turn down the road.

This was supposed to be going up on the spleen last night. Haven't seen it yet, but I'll post back here if it shows up.
You sure are demanding. Posting a blow by blow in a thread of your impatience isn't very good etiquette here. Please learn some patience and learn to post with better manners. It will get you a lot farther.
No disrespect meant, just saying.
JawsTDS said:
I'm just going by what my source wanted me to credit them as, but as far as I know, this 35mm scan of the OT is happening, and most likely, so is the '97 SE ANH print.
Does anyone think the "TB" TPM rip would be a good source? I'm hesitant as it's 4gb and MPEG-2. It's a 133 minute movie and that should not fit on a single layer DVD. I'm deciding between that and the laserdisc rip.
The TB TPM isn't the greatest although it at least allows folks to watch a theatrical version of the movie. A solid laserdisc rip would be better to work with but it will take a little more time I'm sure.
This is just my opinion, so you know.
:)
Having a film sourced SE Trilogy transferred to blu-ray would be MOST exciting. On AVS Forums there is a user who claims to have an SE Trilogy broadcast recorded, each movie on their own d-vhs tape. I have only gotten 1 response from him and that was that he wouldn't give them up. All I was asking for was the chance to get or make rips of the tapes.
In the end, it would be nice to have one film sourced set of all six films and alternative versions along with documentary stuff all in one place and with one consistently cool packaging.
