First film/tv show you're going to watch in 2015!

I will be working my way through the X-Men film series in this order. X-Men/X-Men 2/X-Men:First Class/X-Men: Days of Future Past

As for what show I watch it will be one of these three I have not decided on yet, Chuck, Babylon 5, or Person of Interest.

Days of Future Past was good but not as good as I had hoped.  It looks like they are moving towards the Age of Apocalypse story line next but I could be wrong.

I did enjoy The Wolverine Extended Cut.

I know I'm keeping an eye on Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. for sure.  Agent Carter looks promising too but I'm expecting the worse while hoping for the best with it.

Actually...

And then...

Oh and let's not forget...

I love the side projects that Tim Russ and others are involved with but I was leaning more towards DS9, Voyager, and yes .... even Enterprise.  It would be nice to get a film or two out of Paramount that gave us Federation story lines with these shows being the main character focus during said stories ...... I mean who would NOT want to see the Defiant, DS9, or Voyager on the BIG screen in a far more extended and action-plausible presence.  I KNOW I'd be down.

:)

I should point out that I DID enjoy the "Section 32" angle for ITD.  I was happy that DS9 did kinda dive in to it some but I wanted to see more.

NuSpock calls OldSpock and asks "Dude, how did you beat Khan in the other movie?"

Did that make anyone happy?

I'm on record as enjoying the new movies. I'm also on record as literally throwing my hat to the ground in frustration at that scene in the IMAX theater.

I'm with you here.

The new movies are what they are, fun pop corn experiences for the theater.  That said, I own both blurays and enjoy seeing them on my 60 inch Sony projection TV.  Without any other NEW Trek on the horizon with ANY of the previous incarnations heading it ....... I gotta have "some" Star Trek at least.

Happy New Year 2015
Time

^^^^^^ AGREED!!!!!

Also, with this new year I'd also like to see our community become more aware of the human factor when dealing with our fellow members.  Our manners here are not always Emily Post when it comes to members being treated as just an avatar instead of the real people they are.  We ALL need to pitch in to make it happen.

That being said, this IS a great place and a lot of GREAT things have happened during my stay here.  I consider this place a "standard" in terms of what can be accomplished and the teamwork that can happen from just a little spark.

Happy 2015 to ALL!!!!

WRONG PLACE FOR SILLINESS!  I would like to keep this thread devoted to helping others, please :)

I am sorry to see that the liberty was taken so quickly.  You've done a nice thing here DE ...... let's keep the positive momentum going.

:)

DrCrowT ..... would you tell us about your Great Aunt?  I'll bet you've got some great stories to tell.  Our elders are far more important than they're given credit for.  My grandmother was such a peach.  She taught me things that have stayed with me to this day.  She also had a great right hook.

Darth Ender ..... this is a really nice idea.  There should be some basic rules of thumb for THIS thread as we do have members in the off topic area that may take the liberty of slanting it's purpose by way of the unmoderated status of this section.

JEDIT: What I mean above, aside from what DE wrote, was that there be some moderator back up for this thread at least considering it's intended purpose and because it is in off-topic.  I'm sorry that I wasn't clear enough when I first posted this.

I personally think this could be useful for those willing to talk.  It DOES help when one has someone who is actually listening.

Thanks

If that was true, you would not have said anything in the first place...your posts continue to be highly illogical.

I already spoke to Frink about this. Please just drop it?

Yet you still have to HAVE the last word?  YOU should not have said anything in the first place.  It would have made this all moot (It was spelled wrong, my bad).

DrCrowTStarwars, I hope you are well.  I am sorry if my speaking up caused you any unneeded stress.  It was never my intention to do so.  I'm glad you're still with us.

Despite the repeated claims he isn't involved, I like how it's clear that negative1 wrote that info. Not to mention the fact that this has gone private once again.

*shrug*

TV Frank: I really can't understand your persistent need to try to unveil the workings of a group who are obviously trying to cover their asses for legal reasons, whilst bringing us great releases like this.

Are you upset that you're being lied to? Who hurt you as a child?

:)

1st rule of thumb round here ..... never antagonize Frink.  He'll never let it go and you'll pull your hair out trying to get the idiocy out of your head.

You should follow you own advice, both here and in off-topic.

Off-topic is un-moderated as you'll remind me there and you post so much off topic stuff in the moderated section without reprecussion that your plea has fallen on deaf ears.

The White Buffalo 1977 (Released)
Time

I have watched this twice and I am guilty as some others when it comes to not posting some thoughts on it.  Now, in my defense, my internet connection happens whenever I can find an open port.  I do not yet have a stable service due to cost.

That said, I enjoyed this release from start to finish.  I remember seeing it when I was younger.  I appreciated it then and I appreciate it now.  Charles Bronson was the perfect choice for the lead in this and it has an exemplary supporting cast ..... including the buffalo.

Thanks to TeamBlu for taking this one on.  For us older folks, this really is a treat to see again, and to see it was well taken care of.

Info: Our projects released thread
Time

Maybe finding out what kind of internet connection people here have who are looking to snag these gems would be a wise way to postulate a plan of action.

If you are spending money to source materials and make extras for people that donate you're either coming up even of falling short due to the costs.  Maybe we can put our heads together and figure out a way to better balance the process so that it makes it easier on both sides.

I realize there are hit n runners at the spleen but it looks like they are getting ready to implement some things to keep people with low seeding ratio at the bottom end of the barrel until they correct said behavior.  That is definitely good.

I don't make a lot but I'd be willing to donate something to the cause.  I've donated to some of the archival print work going on elsewhere so it's not like my fingers aren't in any pies round these parts.  LOL

Honest and rational conversations about the exact support requirements you need filled needs to happen for this to work well.

This is just my opinion.

Thanks for all TeamBlu has done so far.  Here's to more.  :)
