The Place to Go for Emotional Support
Time

Just so folks know, I am fighting my rental management over issues and have been evicted from my apartment.  I am staying with a friend but I won't have regular internet access for a bit either.

I am doing okay.  My daughter is safe and that is all that matters at this point.  It is a difficult time and a sorted story but when 1 door closes another one opens.  As a Veteran I am getting legal support to stand up against the way I was treated by these people.

Thanks to this place and all it offers all of us here.  I will try to keep updates coming.

I am not dead, I'm just in the breeze, at the moment.

Miss you all.

Shawn

Yeah, but you put a smiley in every post, so it's a bit like crying wolf. ;-)

Anyway, I really enjoyed the Harmy interview.  I knew he had a job in the industry, but as a recent 4k adopter (just bought a 4k tv this weekend, actually), I was really excited to hear he's working for Ultraflix.

The website could use some work, unfortunately.

Not every one you busy body you ....

I am going to check out the podcast tonight.  It's always good to hear from the source.

I don't think this has ever happened in the ten plus years I have been a member. I also do not think I have been bashed for spelling or grammar on here before either. This is usually a friendly message board and it is not a writing assignment. I don't think anyone has ever got in an argument or has been rude to me before. In fact i can't even remember an incident between other's either.  Anyhow, I am moving on. Apology again to the thread and UUpodcast  for littering this thread with rudeness and hate. I guess someone just didn't take kindly to me, but that's ok!

peace all

Good luck UUpodcast with your Podscasts...;-)

I left a smiley face to let you know mine was meant lightly, no harm intended.

Hey Guys this will be my last post on this, Vinnie has given us a friendly reminder that our SeedBox time is coming up pretty fast, we are already roughly half way through our 3 months so if anyone at all wants to help keep this going please PM me and I will give you the details, the last time I posted we got only 2 takers, so lets see what we can do, but please keep in mind you are NOT obligated at all to help out, so where we are now is we should get Trick or Treat up in time, but Night of The Living Dead 1968 SE and UE probably not.

Here is what our cost is again as well, it is $20 month

as I said at the start of this post, I will not bring this up again, I do not want to hound on this, if we can keep it great, if not well I guess we are back to square 1.

Thanks

Send me a pm DJ, I can donate for a month's service.

Not sure if this would be possible, but any chance a 35 mm print could be scanned at 1080, stabilized to match the blu, and the film grain only lifted frame by frame and applied to the blu?

Why scan a print at 1080 if one is not going to preserve it?  With the money it costs to purchase and have it scanned it would make little sense to waste it in such a way.

Having two versions ..... one source from film and the other being and adjusted Bluray would make more sense for sure.

Are there any Duckman fans who know exactly how the 90s animation Duckman fared on the 2008-9 DVD releases? What was the severity of the music or syndication cuts in those sets?

Google brings up numerous links to reviews.

I just finished.  I have to say, I learned more about Frink and Q2 than anything, I was pleasantly surprised.

My ot.com personality is completely fake.

You're like night and day all at the same time, LOL.  I got a mental picture of you being OT.com's Danny Bonaduce .....  ;)

Thanks everyone for listening! And thanks of course to Q2 and TVs Frink for taking part. If someone can tell Q2 it's up, I forget how to contact him ¯\_(?)_/¯

Also, if anyone wants to talk film preservation (like, preserving actual film), feel free to pm me on here or reach out however you know how. I'd love to tack you onto Harmy's episode. Right now I have him slated to go up next Tuesday, but I can hold it off a week if necessary.

Maybe you could consider talking to a few fans who own some of the preservations, see what it is, from their point of view, that makes the hunt for them so passionate.

It's just an idea.
