Couldn’t really find anything definitive anywhere on this, so I will ask here:
I am a mac user. I have a Mac pro 1,1 running OS 10.7.5
I just installed an internal Blu-ray burner into said Mac Pro.
What is the best way to burn this and other MKV files to blu-ray disc properly and, preferably, without any reencoding?
I see Leawo has what is supposedly decent software. is that the way to go or is there something better?
I was also referred to TS Muxer, but I can’t seem to get that to open on my Mac without crashing.
I have no intention of buying a PC, nor do I want to put these on USB drives or stream.
Any suggestions?

Google is a great resource and I believe MAC can handle an internet browser for such a search, no?

I know you can use ImgBurn but how to remux the folder into an Iso and then burn that?

However, this is totally irrelevant to this project, as the goal is to reproduce the original theatrical color timing, including any color timing errors, that were in the original theatrical release, not the most realistic color timing.
I think this is a great project and I’m kinda bummed that you’ve had to say the above numerous times when you’ve already made it clear that it is what your doing with “this” particular project.
Anyways, I’m glad to see that this film is getting treated so carefully. It’s nice to know that there are people in the world that care about these films like I do.

If it was an error on Google’s end, that still doesn’t entitle you to download an illegal copy. You need to fight that battle with Google, not the studio.
I take this very seriously because I believe it threatens the existence of multiple sites I love, including this one.
Not being careful with unfounded accusations can also be harmful to people’s everyday life when not handled more carefully by those making the open accusations. I’m sure they will get it sorted but my credit card was already tapped for the amount I owed them. I have no issue at least discussing what happened and the possibility that I may need to look elsewhere. If I DO have to look elsewhere I will post NO conformation whatsoever here because it wouldn’t be fair to the site.

In any case, I received a response to my query, and the issue was fixed promptly. I paid in full for what I ordered and I now have everything that I ordered. Me and the Mouse are square and I’m good. This will be my last post in this thread.
I do suggest to others posting in the thread to limit it to discussion of the content itself. Any other discussion regarding this situation should be done privately until Jay has a chance to decide how he wants to handle it.

I noticed the red/orange tint thing - that’s actually because the US version of that scene uses several shots from other parts of the original movie. I’ll probably correct that in the 1080p version using a VHS rip for reference.
I have the Anchor Bay 1997 SP mode VHS version of the US release.

Nobody should assume anything is okay to do until Jay weighs in on this matter. The rules need to be updated to include digital online and exclusive content.
Also … we all should be careful about how we perceive people because they are searching out something they paid for and didn’t get due to an error on the merchandiser’s side. The only thing I expect is that until clarification comes that it’s at least okay to have open discussion about these things until Jay says otherwise.
If you are asking for bonus features from someone else instead of buying them yourself, it’s piracy. End of story.
JEDIT: I’m obviously not speaking for the staff here, it’s just my opinion. But regardless of the official ot.com policy, which is unclear due to the recent nature of digital copies, I think it’s extremely bad form to ask for anything you can buy yourself, and furthermore I believe it endangers the site. For me personally, If I can buy them from Google Play, I will gladly, as I have stated I already purchased the films but the exclusive bonus stuff didn’t show up. I have already stated that I am checking with them on what happened. If I should have gotten them and didn’t then I have a partial refund coming if they are unable to provide them due to the error on their end. If they cannot provide the refund or the exclusive bonus stuff, I am entitled to acquire them as they were paid for in advance. End of story.

Each digital release will come complete with two new, never-before-seen bonus features: Star Wars: Discoveries from Inside and Conversations, which involves sit-downs between key contributors from across the entire franchise.
Apparently at the time of release and purchase, Google Play had some issues. I have sent them a kind e-mail on the matter.
