Decided to start re-reading the Revenge of the Sith book by Matthew Stover. Still a great book. It’s the canon Revenge of the Sith, in my mind. Only problem is, just like the movie, the opening sequence is way too damned long. If anyone decides to read it, I’d recommend skipping right to Obi-Wan and Anakin landing in the hangar, reading all the way to Obi-Wan being knocked unconscious and Palpatine recommending to leave him, then skipping from there to when the ship lands and Windu is on his way to meet them.

I’m a huge fan of some of those edits.

I really love the idea of Padme shutting down Obi-Wan and Anakin’s bickering, it was done very well.

Replacing the centipedes with a laser bolt was done beautifully.

Anakin being cut off by Windu right after he was put on the council was an amazing idea.

You did a great job making Anakin’s foce-choke seem more forceful.

Really the only edit that I don’t like is 64. I think it could be done better. The music starts up too suddenly, and is a bit too loud. I’m also not sure about the dialogue choices, there may be better lines to use there.

I’ve heard that apparently there’s jetpack repulsor technology in the saber hilts.

I just like the term.

I’ve begun to dislike using the term “anime” because it makes me feel like I’m more associated with weeaboos who see anime (and other forms of Japanese media) religiously. The people who freak out if you call an “anime” a cartoon, or call a “manga” a comic book. Crazy weirdos.

I get a real kick out of calling them ‘Chinese cartoons’ around this type of people.

I have my TV on pretty loud, since I like the background noise. Since a few days ago, every night at around 12, they run tests for the emergency broadcast system. Now those are pretty loud even when the TV volume is at a reasonable level. I have no doubt that it’s awoken the neighbors.
